Suddenly the demon felt very uncomfortable. "W-Well..." he began. "I never said you were not allowed to stay, just that I would like a little more notice in advance." No one could fault him for wanting that, could they? And he had said she could stay, so there was no reason for them to be angry with him. A crisis easily averted.
