Family Reunion [Active]
Character(s): Priere and Culotte
Content: Priere runs off to find her little brother
Setting: Near Joutenheim
Time: Right after this.
Warnings: None?Possible head smacking.
"'scuse me!"
"Sorry!"
"Hey, move it!"
Unceremoniously bumping into about everyone along the way, Priere dashed all the way to Joutenheim. Culotte was there after all, and she had to make sure that he was alright. So okay, she knew that the city was generally safe, at least she never had any problems in town. Still, she couldn't just let his standing there. She finally stopped near the gate, panting slightly, scanning to find a red head among the native's crowd.
She was a bit torn about the whole thing though. In a way, she was happy to have her brother around, but in another way... it would have been better if he hadn't been kidnapped along with her.

There wasn't much to do after that but wait. Culotte watched through the people milling about, keeping an eye open for Priere's tell-tale hair. They both stood out very well around here.
Oh! There! That hair sure wasn't blond. Hopping to his feet, Culotte promptly approached the panting figure, confirming very quickly it was indeed his sister.
"Priere!"

She was still a bit confused about the whole deal with him apparently being with her before coming here, especially since she was pretty sure that she went into the dark portal alone, but right now, it didn't seem to matter so much. And at the very least, he looked like he was alright.
"Erm, well, welcome to Paixao... or something like that!"
no subject
"Heh, thanks, I think," he replied with an awkward laugh. It was kind of silly, but this whole situation was rather strange. Seeing Priere now was almost surreal, in a way.
"So, uh..." Culotte began, not sure exactly what to say. Finally he settled on one thing he was, admittedly, a bit curious of. "How long have you been here, anyways?"
no subject
The welcome said and done though, Priere realized that there would be a slight problem. Culotte would be living with her (no ifs or buts), but she had no place for her little brother. Before she actually realized just how easy it was to pay around here, she had just settled for the first place she thought she could afford. She meant to find a better place but... hey, she had other things to do!
... okay, she was just lazy.
But either way, Culotte couldn't (and wouldn't) stay on the couch for very long...

"Is there a way to get back home?" Culotte then asked, curiously. He hadn't been here long enough to hear of a way, but he hadn't really asked yet. He'd mostly been concerned with figuring out if Priere was here or not. Now that he'd found her, getting out of here was definitely the next thing on Culotte's mind. Not that this place seemed all that bad (albeit a bit weird), but home was home.

And there it was, the question she really didn't want to answer. Urgh, didn't anyone give him the basics when he came through the gate? "... we can't. We're trapped here," she finally settled on, obviously not pleased with the whole thing. "But hey, at least the whole place is free, so it's not too bad!" she finished, rather upbeat. Hey, no reason to be down about everything, right?
no subject
"Uh... I guess not. How is everything free?" he asked, hoping she'd forget about the other thing. He didn't want to get back to that, especially given she hadn't seemed to want to believe him.
Culotte couldn't say he'd ever been any where that didn't expect payment for things.
"And how are we trapped? I mean, can't we just walk out to leave?" he asked, confused.
no subject
And I need to stop pressing the wrong "comment" button.))"Easy~," Priere answered amused, while nonchalantly ripping off a bunch of leaves off a nearby branch. "Here's your money!" she said handing it over. "What do you want? The people here are kinda dumb." That last bit was, for once, said more softly then usual. Not that she didn't want to offend anyone, like she actually care about offending the natives in the first place, but the last thing she needed was for them to realize the whole thing and start charging real money.
The rest of his question though... she didn't really want to answer. Urgh, couldn't this place have a decent welcome wagon instead. "You know how we always find a gate after a while in the dark world to get us back home? Well, it's kinda the same here... except they took that gate out. So now we're stuck." There, that should be good enough.
no subject
Just as she also seemed serious enough about them being stuck here.
Okay, that really wasn't good.
"Then how are we going to get home, Priere?" he asked, looking worried now.
no subject
Honestly? She didn't believe it would be this easy. She hasn't met this "Organization" yet, but from the little that she learned, they were linked to them being here. And while she didn't know what they wanted, it wouldn't take a genius to figure out that they wouldn't let them go this easy "We'll probably have to deal with whoever trapped us here first. So reach the top floor and wipe the floor with the bad guy's face and we'll go home, yeah!" she finished, clearly excited about that.
no subject
As for her plan... Priere's plan was, well, pretty typical for Priere. Nothing was ever that easy, and Priere ought to have known that by now, but then, it was his big sister. When did she not just rush right into things? They'd be lucky if things really turned out that way.
"Okay, well," he began, trying to figure out how to respond to that. Priere might've said not to ask about the castle, but... "Where is it? I haven't seen any castle around here yet."
no subject
"This is nice, I haven't really got around to do laundry in a while."
no subject
He shouldn't have been surprised. He really, really, shouldn't have.
((ooc: argh lame comment >.<;;; SORRY SO LATE TAIGA. I coulda sworn I'd tagged o.o; ))

She hadn't really gotten to up keeping her place, so right now, it would be in a pretty bad state.

Culotte's hand met his forehead as he sighed. Leave it to Priere to manage to put laundry off long enough for him to get here. What would she have done if he hadn't ended up here? He had a feeling he was going to have his work cut out for him.
"The whole thing? How much laundry have you got?"
She didn't even have her wardrobe here or anything. So how had she managed...?
no subject
Honestly, it wasn't as bad as he could be making it out to be... though the growing layer of dust had gotten a bit worst in the past month... and there was a bunch of dishes in the sink.
Yep... time to move.
no subject
Priere living on her own just seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. Or rather, one that sounded like it was already well in progress. It was all so typical of his sister.
How lucky she was he was now here to clean up after her. It was pretty inevitable he'd end up doing it.
((............ Yeah. TIME TO MAKE A NEW THREAD WOW I.. FAIL. I'm so sorry Taiga. T_T;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;))

"Huh? It's just a normal couch. Why's that?" she said, rather oblivious to the actual meaning of his question. "But we could go get a bigger one since you're here and all. And I don't have a spare bed..."
Hmm, this could get though.
no subject
Culotte was trying to get an idea so he could imagine how much laundry he would be dealing with. Normal? Well, maybe that wouldn't be TOO bad...
"Well, at least it beats sleeping on the floor, I guess..." he muttered, not looking too forward to this, but resigning to his fate. Here they are in a brand new place, and she was shoving her dirty laundry at him.
