Family Reunion [Active]

Character(s): Priere and Culotte
Content: Priere runs off to find her little brother
Setting: Near Joutenheim
Time: Right after this.
Warnings: None? Possible head smacking.

"'scuse me!"

"Sorry!"

"Hey, move it!"

Unceremoniously bumping into about everyone along the way, Priere dashed all the way to Joutenheim. Culotte was there after all, and she had to make sure that he was alright. So okay, she knew that the city was generally safe, at least she never had any problems in town. Still, she couldn't just let his standing there. She finally stopped near the gate, panting slightly, scanning to find a red head among the native's crowd.

She was a bit torn about the whole thing though. In a way, she was happy to have her brother around, but in another way... it would have been better if he hadn't been kidnapped along with her.

Culotte did, of course, do as he was told, and had stayed put -- well, mostly. He'd moved back to the gate, since that's where he'd told Priere he was. Truthfully he'd moved away from it, but it would be likely harder to find him if he'd remained where he was there. So, having returned to the gate, he'd settled on a bench to wait for her.

There wasn't much to do after that but wait. Culotte watched through the people milling about, keeping an eye open for Priere's tell-tale hair. They both stood out very well around here.

Oh! There! That hair sure wasn't blond. Hopping to his feet, Culotte promptly approached the panting figure, confirming very quickly it was indeed his sister.

"Priere!"

Culotte was also rather glad to see Priere. He wasn't sure exactly what he'd have done if he'd ended up being here alone. Luckily that wasn't going to be the case.

"Heh, thanks, I think," he replied with an awkward laugh. It was kind of silly, but this whole situation was rather strange. Seeing Priere now was almost surreal, in a way.

"So, uh..." Culotte began, not sure exactly what to say. Finally he settled on one thing he was, admittedly, a bit curious of. "How long have you been here, anyways?"

"So, that's why..." he said, trailing off. That explained why Priere's reaction on the journals. What it meant, Culotte wasn't sure.

"Is there a way to get back home?" Culotte then asked, curiously. He hadn't been here long enough to hear of a way, but he hadn't really asked yet. He'd mostly been concerned with figuring out if Priere was here or not. Now that he'd found her, getting out of here was definitely the next thing on Culotte's mind. Not that this place seemed all that bad (albeit a bit weird), but home was home.

((ooc: argh epic fail me. I shoulda rechecked their conversation in the journal before I wrote that. =3= I'd forgotten she specifically had already said it was a month. >.>;))

"Uh... I guess not. How is everything free?" he asked, hoping she'd forget about the other thing. He didn't want to get back to that, especially given she hadn't seemed to want to believe him.

Culotte couldn't say he'd ever been any where that didn't expect payment for things.

"And how are we trapped? I mean, can't we just walk out to leave?" he asked, confused.

He started at the shiny, leaves his sister handed him. Er, were they even leaves? They were shaped them but they were... strange. They didn't seem to be actually plant life at all. Culotte could only look at the 'money' with a baffled expression. She wasn't serious, was she? ...She seemed serious enough, however.

Just as she also seemed serious enough about them being stuck here.

Okay, that really wasn't good.

"Then how are we going to get home, Priere?" he asked, looking worried now.

Castle? What castle? Culotte hadn't noticed anything castle looking, but he hadn't seen all of the city at all yet, so maybe he just hadn't seen it yet.

As for her plan... Priere's plan was, well, pretty typical for Priere. Nothing was ever that easy, and Priere ought to have known that by now, but then, it was his big sister. When did she not just rush right into things? They'd be lucky if things really turned out that way.

"Okay, well," he began, trying to figure out how to respond to that. Priere might've said not to ask about the castle, but... "Where is it? I haven't seen any castle around here yet."

In a castle? In? How did that work? And, how was that not important?! Culotte was too stunned by this fact to offer much protest beyond some spluttering, which only got worse with her next comment. "Laundry?!"

He shouldn't have been surprised. He really, really, shouldn't have.

((ooc: argh lame comment >.<;;; SORRY SO LATE TAIGA. I coulda sworn I'd tagged o.o; ))

((...*TRACKS THIS SUCKER gads. Why wasn't it...*))

Culotte's hand met his forehead as he sighed. Leave it to Priere to manage to put laundry off long enough for him to get here. What would she have done if he hadn't ended up here? He had a feeling he was going to have his work cut out for him.

"The whole thing? How much laundry have you got?"

She didn't even have her wardrobe here or anything. So how had she managed...?

"And... how big is this couch?" he asked, images already forming in his head.

Priere living on her own just seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. Or rather, one that sounded like it was already well in progress. It was all so typical of his sister.

How lucky she was he was now here to clean up after her. It was pretty inevitable he'd end up doing it.

((............ Yeah. TIME TO MAKE A NEW THREAD WOW I.. FAIL. I'm so sorry Taiga. T_T;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;))

((Yes it goes on and on my friend~!))

Culotte was trying to get an idea so he could imagine how much laundry he would be dealing with. Normal? Well, maybe that wouldn't be TOO bad...

"Well, at least it beats sleeping on the floor, I guess..." he muttered, not looking too forward to this, but resigning to his fate. Here they are in a brand new place, and she was shoving her dirty laundry at him.
