Despite his wishes, Asch made sure to not leave the area. In all honestly, he would have ran off to meet her as soon as their conversation ended on the message boards. But she did have a point- she apparently knew this city better than he did. If he got lost on the way to meet her, he'd definitely be kicking himself over it.
And so he waited patiently by Muspelheim, straining his eyes and ears, looking for any sign of Natalia.
He didn't recognize the sounds of her sobbing at first, but he did catch sight of a familiar figure off in the distance. With hastened steps, Asch quickly closed the distance between Natalia and himself. It was only when he got close did he realize those odd sounds he heard were from her. He slowed down considerably now once he realized she was crying, unsure how to approach the situation.
