CAN I SMELL YOUR GASOLINE? CAN I PET YOUR WOLVERINE? [ active ]
Character(s): Jecht & OPEN
Content: RESISTANCE MEETING of the not so subtle-variety
Setting: Paixao Central Station
Time: 3:10pm >D
Warnings: Let's see!
OOC ; All right! So Jecht's meeting is go! I'm trying something a little different here so... There are 5 parts to his speech below! Feel free to react / have conversations with people in between them, just know that Jecht will not be responding until part 5, so sadly he will not stop his speech, EVEN IF YOU THROW TOMATOES AT HIM. He's persistent.

THE PLAN. [ feel free to react or not ]
A crooked grin flashed its way across, as he lifted an arm, pointing to his blindfold.
"I just wanted all of ya to come today, knowing that I'm a guy you can talk to keepin' your identity hidden, even safe from if they sap out my memories."
He was proud of himself, and probably looked it. If he came out of this meeting knowing that a group banded together tighter from his efforts, he would be happy. As long as the new folk knew there was hope -- and a link to others that wanted to work towards the same purpose -- he would know he accomplished something.
"Though maybe I can't see right now -- I ain't leadin' you guys blind. That's a promise."
no subject
Meg scowled, turning her face away from the stage. Who was the bigger fool here? Jecht for believing in the power of teamwork and friendship? Or her for believing in him?
*Keeping hidden, he's spying*
That being said, Jecht did have a point. Riku was able to see just who was on their side rather than just being mindless citizens of this city of memory. These would be the people he could contact for help. Or considering how open they were being about this, would be able to keep an eye on to help.
Re: THE PLAN. [ feel free to react or not ]
Auron had to admit the speech hadn't sounded that bad. Though considering the leadership Jecht's son showed, it shouldn't have been that much of a surprise. And at least he was there to help the other man plan things through (something he knew was not the blitzball player's strong point). "Better than I thought," he agreed.
Braska took a look around the gathered crowd. "And he does have a point. Look at all these people, Auron. We may have a chance!" He turned his gaze upward at the painted sky and chuckled to himself. "Even if this is dangerous... It isn't as though they don't already know who some of us are, right?"
Auron didn't respond, looking straight ahead. You could say he'd grown too pessimistic over the years, but he was willing to give this a shot.
After all, the two of them had a point.
