The Hero has Arrived
Characters: Link, anyone who wants to greet/confuse/bug him.
Content: Link arrives to Paixao
Setting: Niflheim Gate
Time: Week 18, just after sunrise.
Warnings: None for now.
Link had expected to be sent back to Lake Hylia after speaking with Princess Ruto and acquiring the Water Medallion. When the bright blue light disappeared however, he found that he was somewhere completely different. He looked around him, trying to figure out where he was. “Navi. Where are we? Navi? NAVI?!”
The fairy was nowhere to be found. The Hylian took off his hat, looked and felt inside it, but couldn’t find his tiny friend. He looked everywhere, but it was useless. “Great.” It was then that Link noticed the large dome in front of him. If he hadn’t been so panicked at the disappearance of his friend, he would have noticed it a lot sooner. Even from the distance, it looked like there were people inside. Maybe they saw Navi? And even if they didn’t, maybe they could tell him where he was.
There was a line of people waiting to get into the dome. Link impatiently waited, and when he got to the front, was immediately given a black thing and asked what his name was. “I’m Link.” Before he could spit out another word, the person welcomed him to “Paixao” and he was more or less pushed inside. Link held on to the black square thing absentmindedly and tried to ask people where he was and where Navi was. So far, no one seemed willing to help. In fact, most people either ignored him or walked away. Frustrated, Link decided to walk around to see if he could find Navi himself. He would also keep a lookout for Sheik, just in case he was in here somewhere. If he was, he was bound to know what was going on.

"Looking for something?" he asked as soon as he was close enough to be heard without shouting.

"Uhm, yes. You haven't seen a fairy around here, have you? Her name is Navi, and she has a pretty loud voice." He should know. "I'm also looking for another friend named Sheik. He keeps his face covered, and has the Sheikah symbol on his chest." He hoped that this person had seen them, or at least heard of their presence in the city.

"I can't say that I have," he answered. "But I can hardly know everyone in this set."

He wondered if this person was native to this area. It wouldn't hurt to ask. "The people at the gate told me this place was called Paixao. Could you tell me anything about it, and maybe how to get back to Hyrule?" Link had never seen him around Hyrule, but his dress was similar to some of the nobles. "I have some friends who are in trouble, so I need to get back as fast as I can." He had two more temples to go through and two more curses to break. He couldn't stay here for long.

"I'm afraid it's going to have to wait. No one's yet been able to deal out of the hand."

Link turned to leave. He didn't want to bother this guy, and he had to look for his friends. Looking for a way out would also be productive to his mind. He was about to run off, but then remembered the rectangular thing the person had given him when he walked in. He turned back to the sivered-haired person. "You wouldn't happen to know what this is for, would you?"
no subject
"It's for talking to the rest of the people here."
no subject
"Thanks." Ok, maybe now he could leave and look for his friends. He nodded to the young man, then turned and started walking down a random street. He'd have to start somewhere, didn't he?
