To her credit, Urd resisted the urge to whirl around in surprise. But she was surprised, of course...who wouldn't be? To say nothing of his appearance, this newcomer's voice echoed in her head like cement blocks rubbing together. Even more jarring, however, was the overall sensation that he had no plane of existence in the flow of time. To an aspect of time like Urd, Norn of the Past, this was definitely a new experience.

"Tell me about it," she murmured dryly, turning gracefully to face him completely. Her deep purple eyes were half-lidded as she gave this being a thorough checking out. Not human, of course, but not precisely anything else she was aware of, either. Then again, this was Paixao (...wasn't it?). She'd come to expect new experiences here. "Not at all what I was expecting...and neither are you." She gave him a charming smile, holding out her hand.

"I'm Urd. Can't say I've seen you around before."
