Oh, What a Beautiful Morning~ [Active/Open]
Character(s): Belle, anyone else
Content: Belle goes to the park to practice her archery
Setting: Jogo da Crianca
Time: Late morning
Warnings: None
Belle hadn't really gone outside for some time. Even after the light returned to Paixao, she rarely wandered very far, sticking to the general shops around Iriela for her needs. Instead, she'd been cooped up with her books, fascinated by the stories and histories of worlds she'd never even heard of. It was only after Yuna had said something that she realized she'd been inside for so long.
Now she was walking along the scenic path of the park, breathing deeply the scent of real grass and fresh air. Over her shoulder, the quiver of arrows she'd bought at the Prince's behest bounced merrily, the plain, simple bow carried gently in one hand. Even though the sun was false, the warmth of the light shining down felt real enough to her. Smiling to herself, she paused in her walk to spread her arms out wide and tilt her head back, as if embracing the peaceful morning.

... There was just no life to it, she thought. The princess smiled gently as the light basked the area. Beggars couldn't be choosers she supposed. As long as her loved ones were safe what was she to worry about at the moment? These questions had no answers as she craned her neck slightly. The sound of footsteps caught her attention as a young woman appeared into view. Sapphire sat quietly, curiously watching to see what she would do.

She froze, heat flooded her face. "Ah..." she murmured, taking in the girl's beauty and odd clothing. "I...um." She shook her head, shaking herself from her stupor and curtsied gracefully. "How do you do?" Belle asked, smiling genuinely despite the embarrassed flush that colored her cheeks.
/ahh sorry this is so late!
She stood quickly, brushing down her dress and bowing as she replied, "I fare very well, how do you do?" Sapphire tilted her head slightly as she looked over Belle curiously, "Are you a citizen here?"

So he was yet again turning to old habits. It wasn't Zexion of the Organization who was wondering the park. Gone was the coat, replaced by a simple pair of a pants and a t-shirt. His hair? Hidden with the illusion of shoulder-length brown hair, pulled back into a simple ponytail.
A man that at least one of the pair knew, although he didn't speak up as he drew near. No need to interrupt whatever they were up to if it was of any importance. He was content to wait, for now.

How curious! Sapphire thought, "Hello, friend! Are you here to join us?"
no subject
"If you don't mind me doing so," he answered. "I wouldn't want to bother you."
He could just as easily move on if his presence wasn't wanted here, after all.

"Ah! Ian!" she exclaimed, walking so briskly towards him she was almost skipping. "I haven't seen you in so long. How are you?" As she neared, she gracefully gestured towards her new friend. "This is Sapphire. I believe she just arrived here."

The princess couldn't hide her curiosity, she inspected them both up and down. They seemed like normal humans, just like herself! What would this world want with someone like them?
no subject
"I'm doing well," he answered with a smile. "You?"
A moment later, he offered a polite nod to Sapphire's question. "Long enough to have learned a few of the details about the place."
no subject
"It's so easy to lose track of time here." Belle turned her head towards Sapphire again, eyebrow raised. "Why do you ask?"
no subject
Sapphire thought for a moment, those words sounded just ever so funny when it came to her friend! "Oh, but don't worry. He likes to lie about other things. He'll try to look up your skirt without telling you, he'll experiment on your weapons and friends... mm! But he wouldn't lie about something like that."
It was such a curious thing to the princess, she was living for so long in a Netherworld that it was strange to be accustomed to humans once again. She liked it, don't think otherwise, but it was so different to be around normal people instead of demons for once!
"I'm a little relieved that we're in a world full of humans, though." She smiled sweetly, "I don't want to cause any problems here."
no subject
A question that would have to go unanswered for now, since the only way to no for sure was hardly something that Ian would turn to. But he could certainly keep an eye for her on the journals, and perhaps that would be as good as his other options.
"Did you cause problems somewhere else?"
no subject
"I can't imagine you causing any problems, Sapphire," she said gently, turning back to the princess. "You're such a nice girl."
no subject
Returning to her normal and much more graceful posture, she swung her arms behind her back as she thought. Hmm, she didn't mean to cause any trouble in the first place, but sometimes trouble just wound its way towards her! There wasn't much she could do, a girl has to protect herself! "Hmm, I wouldn't really say I caused it," She giggled as she thought, the Netherworld was just prone to things like that happening! "I just live for the battlefield, y'know? I quite like the feel of having to protect others even if it's through... physical means."
The high pitch in her voice didn't help her at all. Sapphire just sounded so cute saying those sorts of words, it was no wonder many didn't take her seriously at first. "I've always wanted to be more lady-like, but oh! I guess it really doesn't matter now. Almaz says he likes me just fine. ♥"
She was sparkling now. It was an odd side-effect whenever this princess grew too happy. Do not fear, they're certainly not lethal.

Of course, there was the fact that things weren't always what they seemed and he would certainly not be forgetting that fact.
"If he likes you for who you are I see little reason to change," he offered with a faint shrug, ignoring the sparkles she was throwing off.
