Character(s): Braska, Yuna
Content: Father and daughter discuss things.
Setting: Yuna's apartment.
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: None, I don't think.
He still couldn't help but wonder just what it was that worried her. Well, perhaps "worried" wasn't quite the word to use, but there was certainly something on Yuna's mind. He had been keeping a close watch on the network lately, but wasn't entirely sure what to say. All of this new information coming up... Why now? And where was this information coming from? It was so confusing. He could hardly make sense of it. Could this have something to do with that?
Braska followed Yuna's directions to the apartment, walking up to the door and knocking. He was worried, he wouldn't deny, but it was better to keep his fears to himself for now. He didn't want to worry her, and so he put on a smile. In any case, he was likely thinking too much about this.

As soon as she heard the knock, she turned and walked over, pulling it open so he could step in. "Thanks for coming," she murmured with a smile. "Would you like anything? A drink maybe?"

fff what how did I completely miss this
"I don't really understand it, but I thought it was something you should know about."

Also mentioned experiments. "This is...!" Could it be? Were they talking about the experiments from before? Or were these from before even that? Braska took a slow breath before turning back toward his daughter. "Has anyone else seen this yet?"

"You should hold on to that," he told her solemnly, handing the note back to her. He held her hand gently. "But promise me you will be careful."

A hand reached out to take the paper back and fold it up so it could be kept in her Gunner pouch. When she looked back up at him, there was a determined glint to her eyes. "I will, but... can you tell me what's going on? I don't like being in the dark, especially about a place I'm going to be living in."
An unspoken, "You can trust me," hovered between them and Yuna hoped he would actually talk to her about the place and his suspicions.

And yet she still had that note, which already put her in enough danger. It was better to say it. "You have heard of the Organization, haven't you? The ones in command of this place? There have been times when others have been kidnapped by this group, and they have had... something done to them." Braska didn't entirely understand what exactly had been done, himself. He only knew that it was... unnerving, to say the least.

"And you think this note had something to do with it." She frowned slightly at his explanation and reread the note. It made sense. "Light and Dark injections. What do they mean by that? It's something to do with Paixao, isn't it?"
The only questions were what and how.

Well, they were getting an insight of sorts into that now, weren't they? And if there were more than these documents...

And to accompany those words, she reached out to hug him again. It was so nice to have her father here, alive. She couldn't even put words to it. Somehow, hugging him was the best way, and it felt even more so since she was still wearing her white mage robes.

He held her in his arms a few moments longer before he let her go, taking a few steps back. "But I should be on my way. I have... much to think about, I think."
no subject
"All right," she answered, pulling open the door. "You know you're welcome to stop by any time you want to." She'd never, ever forbid him entrance.

Braska thanked Yuna, lingering in the doorway a moment. "I will have to take you up on that offer sometime soon."

With that as a parting, she waited for him to leave and walk far enough away before she closed the door. Seeing her father alive and well like this made her just so happy, no matter the cause of their visit.
