Character(s): Princess Sapphire, open.
Content: Arrival at the gate of Muspelheim. Every moment feels like a dream, but this princess knows that reality has handed her an interesting card.
Setting: Open the Gates of Muspelheim, more souls await!
Time: Bright and Early, mid-morning.
Warnings: None, really.

She smiled sweetly to the gatekeeper, complimenting him generously on his work before thanking him and entering the gate. Sapphire pondered asking him about where she was, but she figured he had heard such a question many times. She would just have to find out herself as to why she had suddenly awoken here. Her mind was slightly fuzzy, but she shook it off with much elegance. Almaz was no where in sight, nor was she in the Netherworld any longer. It was obvious she was transferred somewhere, but... the details would have to wait.

"How interesting..." She spoke slowly as she looked around; her eyes sparkled with intrigue at the gates, the large ceilings, the building inside of a building aspect of this area. She couldn't recall asking to be transferred to a new Netherworld...

Oh! She thought to herself, Sir Mao and Almaz would love this! ♥

"Well, this won't do! I'll just have to ask someone where I am. A poor little princess like me needs to be well informed on where she is!" Sapphire smiled as she talked to herself halfheartedly, she began to scope out the residents of this land to find just the perfect person to go up to and ask.

"Excuse me!♫"

"Oh?" Natalia turned around to notice the other woman, a bit surprised herself. On her semi-routine walk to explore Paixao, this was a first face she hadn't encountered before. "Oh, my, do you happen to be a newcomer?" She asked, tilting her head as she mentally assessed the other princess. Dressed well, well composed body, glittering... eyes? Well, that was an odd physical characteristic, but then again Natalia met a walking, talking meerkat. "May I help you?" Natalia gave Sapphire a polite smile as she bowed in greeting.

"...The residents here are so nice! This is a good start!" Sapphire whispered happily to herself, although it was still slightly audible to anyone around her. She bowed in return to this young woman, it was only appropriate for a princess to do so! Ever since she began living in the Netherworld, Sapphire found formalities to be so infrequently used that she never got a chance to not violently react to someone! This was certainly fresh and different!

"Oh, oh! Please, if you have the time. Could... you tell me where we are?"

"Well..." Natalia took in a deep breath. She had never been the one to inform somebody of their arrival in Paixao before, and she had hoped to at least be as polite and helpful as the Setzer person who had been so kind as to help her. "This place is called Paixao. Please, listen, as this may be a bit difficult to digest... we're all called from different realities, and are stuck here against our own volition." Natalia attempted to explain. "We don't know why, but we're all trapped here, and while people come and go, the methodology as to how and why either way is unknown."

Sapphire placed her hands on her hips, while it wasn't difficult for her to believe being in this situation it was certainly cumbersome. "Well, that won't do at all! What about my husband? Ohhh, he's probably going to think I abandoned him after the wedding." She sighed, " I guess he'll just have to cry for a little bit, hehe. ♥"

It wasn't a huge deal, she thought. Sapphire would just have to make due until she could find a dimensional gatekeeper, and if there wasn't one... well, she was sure someone knew something. Either way, the first rule of being a ruler was to stay calm in any given situation and that's just what she was planning on doing.

"Say, so you're not from here? Oh, then we're like transfer students!" Sapphire's mood changed completely, her scowl transformed into a girlish smile, "I'm Sapphire Rhodonite, lets be friends!"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Rhodonite; My name is Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. You may feel free to address me as simply 'Natalia'!" Natalia gave her new friend a smile. Certainly, her mannerisms seemed as little too chipper all things considered, but as a princess Natalia already ascertained that other worlds most likely had their own norms and customs, so there wasn't much point in worrying about little things like that unless there were more people made of pure evil.

But Sapphire didn't give off that sort of impression, in Natalia's point of view.

"So you were just married? Congratulations, even under these circumstances." Natalia continued the conversation. Didn't she seem a little young? Perhaps it was normal in her world. Natalia certainly was engaged since Luke's birth, but she wasn't married yet ~~considering both of her fiancees were technically dead~~. "I've never been a student before, but that sounds quite like the fun outlook on life."

"Natalia, hmm?" Sapphire smiled happily at how easy this exchange was! She clasped her hands together and began to sparkle with excitement, "Mmm! I love having new friends, it's really the best way to learn about a new situation. Think of it like a buddy system, you know?"

Sapphire turned away slightly, giggling happily before winking and turning to Natalia again, "Thanks! I'm pretty lucky, he's quite a catch." It was true! Well, sort of. Almaz was a nice guy, and she worked hard to get him to notice her beyond being a princess, but he wasn't here so it made her slightly annoyed.

Oh. Well. She began to mull on the thought, she could always find a new husband if he abandoned her alone here! Of course, even now, she didn't know that for sure.

"Say, have you seen a hero around here? You know, he's kind of dopey and a little shy, but he's really nice."

"I'd... have to say that explains about a fourth of the overall population here in Paixao." Natalia ruminated among the people she had already met. With so many worlds converging, there were probably more than their fair share of heroes who fit that description, after all. A small grin on her face revealed that perhaps she also thought of Luke in that spectrum; he certainly did try very hard, didn't he?

"If I do come across anybody, I'll be sure to ask if they know about you, Miss Rhodonite. If he's here, you could use also your journal to post to the message board, and perhaps he'll see it!" Natalia held out her own journal so that Sapphire could see. Two people who exchanged vows shouldn't have been separated like this, after all; Natalia didn't appreciate the experience very much when she was separated from Asch.

"Sapphire," The princess scowled, her hands were back on her hips, "We're friends! Please call me Sapphire." She was always known to be a little pushy when it came to others treating her equally, she certainly meant no harm out of it- it was just the way she dealt with things. Friends were best when you were firm with them, after all. Leave no room for doubt and you'll have a good relationship!

"Really? That many people are like us here? How interesting..." There was no way around it she concluded; she would just have to find someone she knew or make new friends. Her reasoning behind it involved group tactics, and a military approach of sticking together- kind of like a squad!

"Well then, Sapphire..." Natalia's cordial manners were a tough habit to break, after all, "Have you used anything like this before? I haven't seen anything like this journal where I'm from, but I've grown somewhat accustomed to using it. I could teach you if that's your case as well; once you get the hang of it, even somebody such as me who isn't used to technology at all is able to get the basic features done!" She explained. Sapphire's strong personality wasn't something Natalia was entirely used to in a woman so young, but she also found it somewhat refreshing to a degree; she's met so many different personalities throughout Paixao, it was quite fascinating.

"And yes, there are several of us here. I've found lodging in Iriela Apartments, though there are other domiciles scattered about the city. Would you like me to take you to one of them and see which one suits your fancy?"

"Oh, please!" She smiled lovingly at Natalia, "I would most love your assistance, I haven't even had a chance to really look around. I don't want to get too lost!" Sapphire began to hum happily as she followed Natalia, it was true that she'd never dealt with journals like this, but they were terribly interesting. She had just received hers from the gatekeeper, and although she didn't have much time to ask him about it Sapphire had already begun to play around with a few of the functions.

"Let's see..." Her curiosity was getting the best of her, punching a few options here and there, Sapphire turned and twisted her journal upside down and all around.

"What a strange contraption if we're being kidnapped... don't you think?"

"I do agree that it's odd, but I'm not the sort of person to look a gift horse in the mouth." Natalia responded. "At the very least, they're hardy and handy; you may use it to communicate with anybody here in Paixao, it has a map, and several other functions. I haven't discovered them all myself quite yet, but it helped me out more than a few times." Natalia walked around, and pointed out the various eateries and shops to Sapphire.

"That's Cid's shop; I work there. I'm not entirely sure of the stock we sell, but they're very gorgeous regardless!" Natalia continued the tour. "And here is Iriela Apartments, where I as well as several others live. I do believe they have vacancies, though if you wish you could look around the city for other domiciles as well."

Sapphire nodded at Natalia's explanations. It was so nice to have someone so helpful, she'd make the loveliest tour guide! A++, the princess thought to herself, What a lovely friend to have! As they wandered around, Sapphire looked down at her journal. She was still playing with it, punching a few more things in it before gasping, "Oh look! It seems Sir Mao is here!"

It had only been a few hours since she last saw him in the Netherworld, to think that she was not alone in being brought here made her wonder just how powerful the enemy must be. Kidnapping a lowly human princess was one thing, but to also have the strength to kidnap an Overlord of a Netherworld? She hummed happily to herself, this was going to be a great challenge after all!

"He's saying something about a Hospital, oh- that's just like him. He picks the ickiest places for a home base."

"Oh, you know somebody?" Natalia had her own fair share of knowledge of weird mad scientists with odd choices for home bases. "I'm so happy for you, Sapphire; that's wonderful news!" It hadn't been too long since Luke found Natalia, so Natalia was glad that Sapphire found somebody else, too. "So, tell me; what is Sir Mao like?"

"Oh, he's the worst." She cheerfully replied, a huge grin planted on her face, "He says really creepy things and he doesn't know when he's drooling to himself, but he's actually a really nice person. Just don't let him get near your skirt! Sir Mao likes to act like he's doing some sort of experiment..." She trailed off for a moment as she closed her eyes and thought about this, as much as she berated Sir Mao Sapphire couldn't help but truly like him! He was one of the few people who would attack her without warning or prejudice, for someone to see through her royal title like that... it truly impressed her.

"... But he's really just some sort of pervert." She ended that statement by sticking out her tongue at the thought. This princess... truly was still rather childish in the end.

"... if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't be surprised if this Sir Mao had several incarnations across the worlds, more than one of them from my own." She sighed. "At least only one other person from my world is here... Luke's a good kid, but he keeps on comparing my breasts to somebody else's... and Tear's are quite... well, legendary, to say the least. I can't even compare." Natalia sighed. "Several people who come here are able to fight; do you have any combat abilities, Sapphire? It would prove to be helpful should you encounter any of the Heartless."

Sapphire couldn't hold in the sheepish laughter that escaped her mouth at Natalia's description of Mao. Oh, she was good and accurate! "Don't worry, Sir Mao doesn't even look at girls like that. You're free to give him a warning if he ever insults your elegance."

Fighting abilities? The princess pounded her fists together happily, "Mm!" Nodding furiously, she continued, "It's what I do. I'm not like every other princess."

"Oh my, you're a princess, too? What a coincidence!" Natalia exclaimed. "My full title is Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, the crown princess of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear." She bowed in respect. "May I ask which country you're the princess of, Sapphire?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. "And we should be fine if we encounter any Heartless; I happen to be a practitioner of Lanvaldear-style archery, a master, in fact."

"That sounds absolutely splendid!" Sapphire clasped her hands together joyfully, she never had the chance to speak to other princesses! To be fair, it was also something she was often afraid to do. Her destructive nature scared off the more delicate girls, even if Sapphire was only just trying to be nice.

"I'm from a human world adjacent to a Netherworld, My kingdom is really small... but it's well renown for being the homeland of the great super hero. Well, he's not really great now..." She furrowed her eyebrows, he certainly had pissed her off on a personal level, "But it's still a pretty no-name place. I quite like it, personally."

The princess laughed at that, it seemed rather strange to talk about her homeland to someone who wasn't Almaz. The mishmash of technology and old world charm made it a charming kingdom, but it wasn't until recently that Sapphire could feel comfortable with her world.

"Archery?" Sapphire squealed, her eyes sparkled, "To master the cold and calculating art of accuracy and distance! That's truly lovely, Lady Natalia!"

"I... suppose that's one way to look at it. It was more of an issue of discipline, really. Or, at least that's the story I stuck with aside from the fact that Father wanted me to take it up." Natalia responded. She didn't even bat an eyelash at being called 'Lady', as it was something she was used to, though it still felt somewhat odd considering that for almost the entirety of her journey with Luke and the others very rarely anybody referred to her as a Princess unless it was used to use her status for their own ends.

"Your world does indeed sound fascinating; I sincerely wish there was a way which I could visit it with you." Natalia smiled. "I honestly never encountered a Netherworld, though. Was it harrowing?"
