The First Seed [active]
Character(s): Marluxia and Sara
Content: The board is taken out and a piece is set.
Setting: Marluxia's hideout.
Time: Week 12
Warnings: Marluxia. And plot.
"I need you to deliver something for me."
A simple task required only a simple summons. The message was sent privately, and no more was said after it was sent. Doubtless she would have questions, and she could ask them of him all she liked. The answer would lay before her--indeed, in her very hands--soon enough. She could look at it and form more questions, better questions from there.
As for her boss... Marluxia imagined she would be even more vocal about her confusion. All the better.
The Nobody turned the folded, battered piece of paper between his fingers, eying it with a sense of triumph. Even if the Graceful Assassin had been betrayed to the Superior, he had managed to retrieve something of use in his departure.
And who was he to keep this treasure all to himself?

Sighing, she knocked on the door before opening it and walking into the room, sliding said journal into her pocket. She eyed the Nobody from across the room, leaning against the wall near the door.
"You summoned?"
no subject
He held the folded note up between two fingers and his thumb, showing it to her. "I've managed to stumble over some information I think Miss Salaheem should find useful. I think it would be in everyone's best interests if you were to deliver it to her with all due haste," Marluxia told her.
The Nobody waited a moment, looking her over. "No one will see it until you reach your destination."

She watched him as she crossed her arms, waiting for an answer. It was easier to have one they agreed on, so that she wasn't making one up blindly later. She wasn't always the best liar.

He doubted it would get rid of any suspicion, but for this first piece, for this bit of information, it would do. He would have to think of other explanations in time.

She sighed, then pushed herself off the wall to head out.
"Was there anything else, or am I just playing delivery girl?"
no subject
"Isn't that your place to say?" the Nobody asked her. "It all depends on what you've found. I did tell you to be my eyes, or did you forget?" And what had those eyes seen? It had been some time since she had checked in with him.

Her journal was safely in her pocket, and she didn't play to say anything about any posts she read. She knew people hid things from certain groups, and she was part of the 'safe' group. She wasn't going to let that slip.

If all else failed, he could always read her memories, but he'd rather keep from that if he could. You could catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

It didn't even occur to her that he could read her memories, like Larxene had before. She figured that was something only the blond sadist could do.

He let the silence linger as he got to his feet. "Then I suppose I'll just have to make sure you haven't forgotten anything else. Consider it a favor."
It only took a few long strides to approach her, and with a few more he had passed through her. "So the Resistance is losing members, is it? What a shame. Hm... This won't do at all," he mused aloud. "And what interesting information that was... Is there any reason you wanted to keep that from me? Could it be... that you don't trust me?"
no subject
Then she saw him walk through her, and knew exactly what just happened. And he was standing right in front of her...blocking her exit.
"You can answer those questions yourself." She said, glaring, and not caring if she was going to pay for it later.
no subject
"I doubt someone like you would want to feel useless." Marluxia returned to where he had been seated before. "But I shouldn't keep you from your job any longer."
no subject
She would have to figure out a way out of this, somehow without getting herself killed.
