Hook could not quite recall why he had been drawn to the woman’s voice. Maybe it was curiosity or perhaps the song itself which he had oddly taken delight in. However, when one considered such things it seemed to lead to a very dangerous road. When the thought occurred to the captain he had merely brushed it off but it was not long before he had begun to develop a hunch; that it was in fact the irresistible call of a sirens song that had forced him to follow the woman. Though he knew the peril, he had certainly enough experience with the aquatic creatures to fend himself should it turn hostile. What a mermaid would be doing here of all places however remained a mystery. Not to be confused as absurd, of course. For a mermaid taking on the form of a human was not unheard of. The sea captain had heard far too many tales to fall for such trickery. If the woman had truly inhabited the sea though, she could prove incredibly useful. Hook could think of many ways to use her unique ability to his advantage giving him all the more reason to follow her.

He waited until the goddess finished her song before he revealed himself from the shadows. “Bravo, my dear. Bravo!” the pirate applauded by tapping his hook against his right hand. “A most impressive voice you have, enchanting almost.”

[ooc: Probably should have asked if it's cool if I pop Hook on in first. If not, lemme know.]
