A New Foundation [Complete]

Character(s): Timon and Tanaka
Content: Remembering the cheerleaders previous efforts to save him, Timon feels the need to share a few words with the man.
Setting: Actua Are [J7]
Time:  Week 11, Unknown
Warnings: Timon is actually nice? Never mind, attempt at being nice was fail.

Everything had changed. Walking the dark, poorly lit streets by himself was a completely different experience compared to what it had previously been. He had been so careless, strolling dumbfoundedly down the middle of the street with countless Heartless following him. Now he practically ran, diving behind any statue, tree or other obstacles he could find. It was doubtful this would prevent any Heartless from finding him but most importantly ensured that any wandering Organization members which might have been out would not spot him. After seeing their power first hand he dreaded the thought of one of them finding him again. If they could do that to him by simply poking him who knew what else they were capable of? He turned his thoughts elsewhere.

Tanaka had not been specific about exactly where in Actua Are they were to meet. The thought occurred to the breathless meerkat once he had finally reached the hotel and could be seen struggling to open the door before someone passed through it. He looked over his shoulder cautiously when entering the building, eyes frantically scanning the entrance while he pressed himself against a wall, trying to blend into the environment. Timon did not feel as courageous as he usually did, hoping for once not to be noticed by anyone other than the cheerleader.

Tanaka raised an eyebrow. "They do. They're just not... burning. No drive or effort. Content and inactive." More potential than the dull remnants of light seen in some of the creatures around the city, sure, but you couldn't motivate a soul that had nothing it wanted to accomplish.

The cheerleader fiddled with his glasses a moment, frowning. He didn't like his abilities being doubted, as an individual and especially as an Ouendan. He hadn't been on a proper mission--one not formulated by plan, but by sporadic necessity--for a long time, and the last one he'd been on had resulted in a less than ideal manner. He needed to get back to work, somehow or another.

Timon's question snapped him away from his moody thoughts again. "Ah. Partially. I did introduce myself in our last meeting, but I didn't catch yours at the time." Since then, he'd had the opportunity to read it over the journals, though.
