A bit taken aback at Hades' rather uncouth display of basic manners, Belldandy let out a small gasp when he pointed his finger at her, holding the fruitcake firmly with a fairly surprised expression. Did he not like gifts? That seemed like a tragic manner in which to live! "Should trouble arise..." Belldandy once again put on a smile, looking straight at both Maleficent and Hades, "Both Genie-san and I are more than perfectly capable of defending ourselves." She responded.

Turning to face Maleficent, her smile did not falter. "Perhaps you would like to partake in this fruitcake, Maleficent-san?
