Your continued existence is a disease [Completed]
Characters: Xemnas and Marluxia :|
Content: Decision made by all, Marluxia has something to face up to.
Setting: ??? (although same place as the previous thread)
Time: Shortly after this thread.
Warnings: Errr. Hm. Likely will have some violence.
The other numbers now dismissed from the room, Xemnas waits on the floor of the room, hood still covering his face. There had been no disagreements regarding Number XI's fate; all that was left was to receive an explanation as to why Marluxia saw fit to plant his seed of betrayal amongst Organization XIII.
And then, he himself would deliver the execution. He had Sorcerers standing by, in the corridors waiting for his call. This would not go easily, he knew.

The Nobody tensed as he caught sight of the Sorcerers around the room. If they were here, then this wasn't going to be a favorable visit. His mouth twitched downward in a tight frown, but only for an instant, leaving his face just as the tension left his body. It wouldn't do to allow Xemnas to know he was suspicious. There was a chance it would turn out to be nothing, but he wanted to be sure to have an easy getaway available just in case.
"You called for me, Superior?" As always, the title tasted like bile on his tongue, but it never showed in his voice, his tone kept even as always, his eyes betraying nothing.

"Marluxia," his voice clips, dropping his usual 'respect' of rank. He does not hesitate in cutting straight to the point. "Explain to me why you have deemed it proper to betray Organization XIII." Not even a question, but a demand.

His face was schooled into a blank expression at the accusation. Every last drop of feigned emotion, every tell had left his face. Did he tell the truth? Or did he deny any part in it? It seemed denial would be a poor option in this case. Whoever it was that had told the Superior of his intentions apparently had had enough evidence to implicate him. Had he gotten ahold of the Replica? Or was there someone other than Axel he had had to worry about?
There was a heavy silence in the air as Marluxia carefully thought out his answer. After a few moments, the Graceful Assassin's eyes closed and his head bowed, his mouth slowly opening to speak.
Marluxia threw his hand out behind him, a portal of darkness appearing in a sudden rush of petals. His scythe appearing in his hands in a flash of light, Marluxia brought the weapon down in front of him, sending a rush of wind and more petals toward Xemnas before turning and attempting to make his exit.

Another Sorcerer moves to block the exit and several Dusks snake in from darkness, slipping across the walls, the floor, the walls again, everywhere -
"Your reaction is acceptance enough," Xemnas says, voice low as he charges the other. "You know what becomes of traitors. The question is why have you sought the ruin of the Organization!" His voice now bellows, just as his blades come across with the intent to wound.

He hops back, a hiss of pain escaping from his lips as his arm hangs beside him. It still has use, but not without distraction, and so he elects to keep it as still as he can. Distraction is the last thing he needs now--as much power as he has, he knows he cannot take the Superior on alone. He needs to leave the room as quickly as possible.
The Graceful Assassin brings his scythe down, sending a wave of energy in Xemnas's direction. It's soon followed up by another--this one for distraction--before he turns again, continuing his charge toward the portal he had created.

His eyes narrow and a Sorcerer moves to his side, creating a border of cubes around Marluxia before unleashing an attack of energy, just as Xemnas summons his other blade again. "You cannot escape," he tells the other, disappearing in a portal of his own, smokey and black, and reappearing through a second to face Marluxia head-on once again.

He teleports to the other side of the room just as petals kick up at Xemnas's feet, dark vines snaking around the other nobody in lazy orbits. Once Marluxia is far enough, he spins his scythe and slams the blade into the floor, large pools of darkness spreading across the floor around him. Brambles reach up from the dark depths, reaching for the Nobodies in the room, cutting them and trapping them within. It's a last ditch effort. The portal he had originally created has closed by now, and the attack was meant more to rid the room of the Dusks and distract the Superior than anything else.

The nothingness statics around his hands, blades blazing, and he's swiftly moving again, avoiding the pools of darkness, a well-aimed strike about to connect - and then his eyes widen a fraction and he realizes a misjudgment on his part. The vines that had been loosely circling around him explode and he finds himself knocked back, blades disappearing.
