Hm, I Have No Clue [Completed]

Character(s): Sara Sidle and Timon
Content: The two enjoy a nice afternoon at the park.
Setting: Jogo da Crianca
Time: Afternoon, Week 8
Warnings: None

Despite the beautiful weather the park did not appear particularly busy that afternoon. Only three citizens stopped to enjoy the park in Timon’s time there; a mother and what he assumed to be her two children. For the most part he had spent a majority of the morning simply seated beside a park bench, watching the odd citizen pass by with as little interest as he gave off himself. However, the arrival of the two children quickly changed this once they had discovered him. They eagerly took him to the playground, declaring him their friend and invited the meerkat play with them.

Naturally, he could not refuse the two, regardless of the influence of light. Had he truly been himself though, he would have certainly brought more excitement to the children. He let them chase him in a game of tag for short while, protect him from a fierce gang of imaginary pirates, make him a little house out of the artificial plant life and finally bury him in the sand surrounding the structure. Of course the meerkat was perfectly safe and by no means bothered by the children. In fact, he seemed to be enjoying himself, laughing along with the two before a loud holler interrupted them. Apparently the children had a busy day ahead of them and from what they had told him were required to leave with their mother. With their goodbye, however, they did promise to return to play with him another day.

Now alone, Timon turned to his side, pushing the sand to off of him before he sat up. He took his time rising to his feet again, casually dusting himself off as always. The meerkat then noticed the shadow he stood in, his eyes slowly wandering up at the play structure before him. The bizarre building was unlike anything he had seen in Paixao.

Walking towards the park she and Timon had agreed upon, Sara stopped for a second to take in the area around her. When she did, she noticed the meerkat playing with the children, looking like he was having a good time, but something still seemed off. She didn't claim to be an expert on his behavior, never meeting him 'in person' before...something just didn't jive to her.

After the children left, Sara walked up, not having the heart to interrupt earlier. Stopping beside Timon, Sara decided to comment, finally.

"You looked like you were having fun."

"Typical playground toy." Sara said, after taking a glance at the structure. "You know, something kids can climb all over and get tired so their parents can take them home." She hadn't really been able to play on any of them as a kid, considering her family life. She'd stayed secluded for various reasons.
