As Urd stepped up to where her ball lay waiting, she sighed. This wasn't what she wanted at all. If she'd been like Belldandy, her sister, she'd have found a way to appeal to Genie in a way that didn't threaten..what, his dignity? Pride? That was a flaw Urd understood too well. If she'd been more patient, less abrasive in her competitive spirit, maybe they'd both still be playing together, having fun. Really, that's all she'd wanted anyway.

Her thoughts were broken by Genie's ball bouncing next to her. She blinked, turning to face him with a wary look. For a few tense seconds, it couldn't be said how she'd react, but she finally gave him a small smile. "Don't worry about it," she replied, ducking her head slightly and chuckling a soft, self-deprecating laugh. "I riled you up...I'm sorry for being so obnoxious earlier."
