Well, that was it. She'd tried her best and had suffered enough of his attitude. It was no longer endearing or interesting. Her hand dropped from his shoulder and she turned away, frowning. "Fine. If your pride is so delicate that you'd be willing to act like this to protect it, that's your problem." Entirely unimpressed, she withdrew a club from her own bag and stepped to the tee. Looking back at Genie with a cool glance, she continued, "You can give up if you want. I'm going to keep playing." She made a shot without any preamble and the ball flew through the air briefly, knocking harmlessly off a birdhouse and rolling some distance away from the hole.

She sighed and whirled around, poking a manicured finger at Genie's chest. "And if you're going to act like this, you can forget our bet, too!" Scowling, she gathered her things and flew quickly down the green where her ball waited.
