At first Genie shared no interest in the goddess’ words, looking away when she approached him. Even at contact he continued to avoid her glance before he found his club forced back into his hands. He shifted his gaze to the object, idly turning it while he listened to her speak. It was true, he didn’t want her to think he was a quitter (nor approve of them) but at the same he refused to be seen as a loser. If he walked away now it would prevent future tears and damage to both the course and his dignity.
Finally he turned his gaze to Urd, mention of her desire to play with him catching his interest. “I’ve been looking forward to playing with you too.” He admitted, the fury he had previously shown completely absent. However, as soon as it was gone it was back again. “But I don’t see the why it’s necessary to continue after the way things have been going.” Genie continued through grit teeth.
