“Too tight?” he repeated. It didn’t feel as though he’d kept that great a gripping on his club but after a brief observation the genie found otherwise. By taking hold of the club by the neck he held the handle up to his face to find it was in fact bent. Groves as to where his fingers had been placed were clearly noted, embarrassing the djinn, though impossible to tell in his all frustration. “This is a new club too.” Genie grumbled and tossed it aside. “Just don’t make them the way they used to.”
Genie summoned a new ball onto his tee while choosing a new club from his bag. “Alright, let’s try this again.” He told himself, lining himself up once more with the hole. Before he took his shot however he turned to glance at the goddess, at the moment all signs of his previous anger gone – at least until he swung. This time his ball made it onto the green, for a second or two, before hitting a tree and flying back toward him. By ducking he just missed it, though the same could not be said for his cart. The alarm sounded after the ball came in contact with it.
"I give up!" the jinni cried and threw his club aside. "You win."
