Before the infamous sea of thorns a large sign is posted with a large arrow pointing upward. When one follows the arrow they will notice a bright red flag poking out of the thorns. Another sign beside the large arrow instructs the player to aim through the thorns and for the flag. Their ball is considered ‘sunk’ at the sound of broken glass or any notable property damage. The rest of the sign thanks all participants of the Genie Golf Classic and asks that they distribute their score cards at the tent located just behind City Hall. It also asks that all golf carts and clubs be returned there as well. The grand winner of the tournament will be announced the following week.
