These days are unexpected [Active]
Character(s): Hades and Maleficent
Content: Hades sulks (cheers a bit 'cause Jafar is gone) and Maly... Maly puts up with it? I donno XD
Setting: City Hall
Time: Day break, basically the morning week 8 starts XD
Warnings: Hades with a temper. Durr. Uh, a bunch of evil in one room?
Outside of City Hall, there was a bit of chaos. Natives that were just getting on with their early business were met with blazes of fire and had to run in fright until Hades made it back, easily surpassing the thorn wall and storming through the doors. He passes the tired looking secretary, yells "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" at her and continues through the building.
How did everything FALL APART around him?! It should not have been a problem! He should have been able to make it WORK! And in the end... maybe... maybe he could have, but at the turn that everything had taken, he could no longer stand for their foolish attempts (because that's really what they were, come on, he was a god, even out of his domain they were the underdogs and he was just 'going easy' on then when he shouldn't have). The girl wasn't worth it. Making Auron pay wasn't worth it. He was so tired of all their faces by that point.
Standing in a waiting area of the building, his 'calm' nature evaporates quickly again. The heat in the area around him skyrockets and the shade of his skin starts to shift. "How... HOW DARE THEY?!" he roars, dark orange fire bursting over his arms as he yells furiously at the ceiling.

Hades had a way with making his presence known and The Mistress of Evil had no troubles in the least of finding the raging god. Stepping from the shadows, staff as always at hand, she seemed the absolute picture of calm compared to the greek god. She did not fear him or his temper. Her only actual worry was of Hades bringing down the ceiling.

"I'm just fine," he snaps at her.

"And Hades? Do try not to bring down the ceiling."
A few steps down the hall and she then paused, turning back towards the god. "Oh! Goodness, I almost forgot what I was going to tell you."

But her next words do cause his temper to waver, just slightly, as he turns owl-like eyes over his shoulder to glance at her. What could she possibly have to tell him? There was nothing he could care about right now, anyway! Words were just words. A distraction, too. An annoyance.
"What?" he drawls.

"It is only a minor setback, of course."
It mostly meant she'd have to take more into her own hands, for now. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing. Either way, she knew Hades barely tolerated Jafar. The news, she believed, would help to keep City Hall intact.

"You know, we should throw a party. A real party. ...No, no, no - forget the party - this is the time for something big, something unexpected! I wouldn't call it a minor setback at all... in fact, he was holding us back!" Hades had cooled down while he spoke, gesturing wildly through the air. "Mistress of Evil, Lord of the Underworld - this city is taking things too lightly!"
And he held back. He held back against those rotten rescuers and paid the price, but not for a second time, oh no!

"Perhaps you are right, Hades," she replied, far calmer than he, but amusement was still in her voice.
A more serious tone then settled over her. "They certainly don't seem to think us as much of a threat," she said, voice becoming harsh for a moment, clutching her staff a little tighter. While they had gotten the city's attention and had been able to claim City Hall so easily, their reins over the city were loose at best.
"It's clearly time we changed that."
