Time to rescue the Princess, er, summoner! (Active, Open)
Who: Harry Dresden, Belle, Hades, Yuna, anyone looking to save the latter from the former.
What: The citizens of Paixao gather to save one of their own from the God of Death
Where: Starts at Yuuko's shop, then makes its way over to Hades' hideout
When: The night Belle and Harry found Hades hideout
Warnings: Probably violence, will update as needed
Notes: Okay, this is one of those pesky large scale logs, so everyone try and move fast (says the hypocrite) especially in the beginning. I figure we get everyone to tag in at Yuuko's shop, Harry and Belle will outline the location and plan, and then everyone split up into teams and make their way to the house. From there, things can hit the fan.
It had taken some time for Harry and Belle to get back to Yuuko's shop, having taken a different path and used some magical and mundane trickery to hopefully keep them from being followed. With any luck, by now people would have started to arrive.
Belle had kept Harry up to date on the responses on the message board, and he'd taken the time to try and sketch out a rough plan. It was far from perfect, but they couldn't leave Yuna imprisoned any longer than they had to, so for now it would have to do. With any luck, the others would have some suggestions as well.
Turning the street, he saw the familiar wall of Yuuko's shop, and turning to Belle grinned and said, "Well, I hope we have enough time to get the party set up before the guests arrive.

Folk can now ambush him, fyi.
Still grasping her ankle tightly, Hades steadies himself and then reaches out his other hand to pull her down fiercely. She had another thing coming if she thought he was going to let her go freely. When he releases her, it isn't long enough for her to escape. He's back on his feet and dragging her up roughly in his arms, laughing as she continues to put up a fight.
"Not this time, princess," he drawls. With her secured in his hands as much as possible, he moves with her struggling body out of the room. That's about when his laughter dies down and his smirk is wiped off his face; down a hall, he can see part of the rescue party. "....oh."
And he's adding to his mental list again about the things that aren't going as planned tonight.

Hades, in the meantime, would surely be able to notice that Belle's imaged hovered surreally behind the nightmaren.
[ooc: Belle is invisible to all but those who can see ghosts and the like - i.e. Hades. She can't be harmed, either.]

Her eyes immediately filling with unshed tears at the surge of relief that Yuna seemed relatively unharmed, Belle cried out, "Yuna! We're here!"

And maybe it was that he was frustrated with himself, as well. A part of him felt as though he should have been there or done something sooner. He knew there was nothing he could have done, especially as he didn't know what had happened until the fact, but even still...
He was here now. That was all that mattered.
And, from what he could tell, she was, for the most part uninjured. The High Summoner sighed with relief, stopping just inside the room.

So she made sure Hades had to work for his goal, struggling as he pulled her into his grip, though she too paused when she saw the new arrivals. Belle's voice, calling from out of nowhere, startled her visibly, but it was soon shaken from her mind by the sight of her father and then Auron arriving. Others were nearby, she could tell, but her eyes found her father's face, an apology written clearly on her features.
With her brief pause finished, she attempted to stamp down on one of Hades' feet, missing since she was already off-balance. "You can let me go now," she told him pointedly as she attempted to find another way to force him to release her.

The only reason he held back was for fear that something would happen to Yuna, and what Braska would do afterwards. Seeing his friend lose his cool made him uncomfortable, and when he felt uncomfortable – he usually found it appropriate to take out his frustrations on the nearest target…

She took a stance behind the three men, ears tuned behind them should the shadows try to creep back up on them, and watched Yuna carefully, all the while silently chanting in her head. If things got uglier, she knew just the summon to try first.

"Oh I think not, princess," he tells Yuna, laughing. But despite his amusement, his eyes are searching around at the crowd, tallying what sorts of people were gathered, who he may have to watch out for. "Because you see, as long as I have you, why would any of your little friends think to attack?" That's something Hades would do. Anyone here? They weren't that foolish. He'd use the girl as a shield, hands down.
His eyes lock to the ghostly figure and he raises a brow in confusion. Now that's a new little trick. Another glance towards Jecht and Hades is laughing again. "Outnumbered, maybe, I'll give you that. Outmatched? Do you KNOW who you're DEALING with?"
He wraps one arm around Yuna's neck to try and keep a hold of her - her antics were really beginning to set him off. With his other arm, he unleashes a wave of flames across the room towards Auron's group.

NiGHTS tilted her head a bit, contemplating, before neatly drawing the rather large water balloon from the inside of a sleeve and hurling it at Hades; if nothing else, it would be funny, at least - and perhaps give Yuna a chance to get away.

The cheerleader was, however, taking advantage of the moments of banter to get a fix on the situation, sizing up the teams versus this god. Powerful spirits, the lot of them, and a number with curious conditions. Tanaka recognized Auron's sputter in particular, and as disturbing as it was to see Belle's fire in NiGHTS' body, it was keeping her safe. He'd have to ask on the method later.
But Hades was a god, point of fact--and pretty firey even if Tanaka couldn't get a clear look at his soul. Cockiness was the dumbest thing they could do.
But an overload of confidence was Tanaka's strong suit. The first attack blasted to them, and Round two was on. Tanaka dodged aside. "Let's go! OSU!"

Death had gotten the hang of this banter thing, from what he knew. Plus, Hades had piqued his curiousity - so far as he knew, Death was the only one who could do his job. Having a god of some sort claim to do the same thing...well, the gods of the Disc were never so presumptuous.
He stood calmly as the wall of flame whipped past and through him - cloaks woven of darkness did not burn, and neither did anthropomorphic personifications. The sword had been sheathed for the more iconic scythe, which he pulled seemingly from thin air. He had a goal - lure Hades towards the door where Harry had laid his trap - but no plan. After his time in the city, he was becoming rather skilled at improvising.
He'd have to be careful - there was a good number of people in the room that he could not hit - but that was no reason not to try. He rushed forward, swinging the scythe downwards towards the god.

Squeezing her eyes shut, she desperately hoped that the battle would turn out alright.

Water was probably the hardest element to manipulate with magic. By its nature, magic was best bonded with static objects, or used for quick explosive effects, which a wizard could visualize effectively. Water was fluid, changing every second so that it was incredibly difficult to hook a spell on to it. For a wizard like Harry, who lacked the fine control of experience, this made water magic so hard that it was almost unusable. He preferred pretty much any other element, particularly fire and force, but the information he’d traded with Yuuko for told him fire wasn’t going to cut it in this case. Water was their best option
That information had better be right, given what it cost him.
That was why he’d used a circle for this particular spell. Normally elemental magic was reserved for evocations, which meant they were supposed to be fast and cheap with a minimum of preparation. Given Harry was not only about to use an element he was unskilled with, but also that he was going to tear it from the pipes below the city, he would need all the help he could get.
Closing the circle, Harry began speaking the words of his spell, using the water in the bottle to reach out to the liquid flowing through the pipes below the city, moving through the connection between them. Once he felt the brush of the water beneath his mind, Harry leaned back and waited, all his concentration focused on keeping his hold on the water. For the moment he lacked the power to do anything with it, but once Hades left the building, that would change.

Braska turned his head away from the flames as they came toward him. He could feel the heat around him, but the flame never hit, deflected by the NulBlaze he had put up around everyone before they had left for the building. As soon as the flames disperse, he put up another, the red light drifting lazily around them.

Oh no. The girl was free - oh just great -
As he tries to quickly remedy the situation, he glimpses Death over his shoulder, and surprises again ripples over his features as he takes him in. What? ... Just who was this guy?! Hades takes the scythe to an arm, gritting his teeth as mist slides around him. This was so not cool. - And what was with his fire not working?
JUST WHAT THE HECK WAS GOING ON HERE?!
Forgetting about Yuna, and half the infuriating people in the room, he focuses on Death, putting his effort into attempting to get rid of Death as fast as possible, tugging down his arm with the scythe buried deeply in it and swinging around with his other.

The nightmaren noticed Hades going after Death and flew quickly after him, whirling around in an attempt to catch him in a Paraloop and focusing her energy in order to turn it into an attack rather than teleportation.
