Return [Active]

Character(s): Elenra/Larxene, Marluxia, Yuuko
Content: Elenra and Marluxia pay Yuuko a visit.
Setting: Yuuko's shop
Time: evening, week 6
Warnings: ...Look at that character list. Look at it.

Elenra half stumbled, half fell out of the portal, bringing her miniature lightning storm with her. She searched with wild eyes for the ownder of the shop, not even sure why she'd demanded to be here or what she expected Yuuko to do. But she had to fix it, she had to make this stop. Make it stop hurting.

"Y-Yuuko," she called.

Yuuko felt the portal long before she actually saw it. The darkness was familiar to her, but more importantly she WAS known as the witch of dimensions. She could easily feel with space was contorting. She closed her eyes as she felt the darkness unfold behind her, a storm was coming with it...both literally and figuratively.

The witch turned just as Elenra stumbled out of the portal. She looked awful, to put it mildly. Yuuko's generally neutral exterior melted just enough to show concern in her eyes. She approached the girl, apparently not caring about the electricity in the air...not even her hair seemed effected by it. "Elenra, dear, you poor child," Yuuko put her hand on the girl's head and then looked up at the black portal in her shop. She frowned, just slightly, "You certainly didn't give her very long did you?"

Marluxia calmly stepped into the shop, seemingly unbothered by the electricity in the air. As long as she didn't turn it on him again, he didn't care. "I did nothing but help her to remember," he replied. "Without her true memories she was nothing but a weak shell of the past."

He paused to idly look the shop over, memorizing it. "I'm sure she can tell you what she wants."

"You shouldn't have," Yuuko replied to the man, "you messed up the negotiations of the trade and in doing so she is the one to suffer for it." The witch indicated Elenra. Yuuko shook her head. This man understood nothing of true memories.

Now was not the time for her to lecture though. If fate meant for it to be this way then there was nothing she could do.

She turned her attention back to Elenra. "Shhh, child. It's alright. I'll make the pain stop," Yuuko replied. She managed to pull away from the girl and crossed the room over to the wardrobe she had placed the Nobody's memories in. She pulled down the box and turned back to Elenra, "I'm sorry it had to be this way. I had hoped it would not come to this...but sometimes the things we wish for aren't necessarily what is always best for us."

Marluxia's eyes immediately went to the box. That must have been part of the trade. "A trade that shouldn't have been made in the first place," he replied. He would stay to make sure she went through with it, but he had no intention of staying any longer.

Yuuko shook her head, this man really didn't understand anything, "That was completely up to her to decide. She had the sufficient payment and it was her wish."

She ignored Marluxia now. Elenra had her full attention. Yuuko undid the ribbon on he box and plucked the grey orb from the box. Her magic circle appeared on the floor and a strange energy began to fill the room. The orb floated in her hand for a moment before dissolving into the air. The particles of gray swept over Elenra and as it passed into her, another object began to form in front of her. It was a crystallized heart. Unlike the shining heart Yuuko had originally given to Larxene, it was cracked and darker looking. Yuuko let out a sigh and took the heart into her hand, "They really are such fragile things," she muttered. She sealed it back in the box she had taken the memories from.

"Still...it will mend itself with time." She watched the formally broken girl with curiosity, sad that she hadn't even lasted long with the heart at all. However, Yuuko had faith that she would have made it...had it not been for outside interference.

He watched with an odd sort of fascination as the orb dissipated, replaced by the heart. Marluxia scoffed quietly. Cracked? It truly was useless. If she couldn't even handle the memory of the event, it was better that she remain without it. It was what she deserved for going behind his back in the first place.

Though with the way she had looked at him before, Marluxia had a feeling it would be better if he left the shop before the strange ritual was finished. If she were given time to think, he was certain she would understand his reasons.

The Nobody turned and disappeared into another portal of darkness.

Yuuko felt the other person leave more so than she actually saw it. In a way she felt sorry for the group cloaked in black hoods...but there was little she could do about any of them.

Most of all, she felt sorry for the girl in front of her.

She didn't want to accept the thanks, so she merely nodded. Yuuko picked up the box with the heart now inside it, "It could have been different you know. Although, I suppose, things are different now regardless." She turned back to the open wardrobe and set the box inside.

Yuuko looked at Larxene for a moment before a sly grin crossed her face, "That'd be nice, I could use more drinking buddies." She folded her arms across her chest and glanced at the spot where the dark portal had been, "Just don't bring Pinky with you next time."

She could tell the young Nobody had a lot on her mind. Yuuko didn't know what it was, but she had a feeling she wouldn't have to wait long before seeing results.
