Last and Least
Characters: Vexen and Timon
Content: The last of this session of experiments takes place...somewhere.
Setting: Excellent question.
Time: See above answer.
Warnings: Well, it is Lab B...take that as you will.
It had certainly taken long enough to come to this point, Vexen reflected placidly as he prepared his lab. He was still quite bitter over the loss of his proxy laboratory setup outside the gates of the city, but this location would function just as well for his purposes.
It didn't take long to complete his preparations, and he clapped his hands twice, summoning the Dusks with his prisoner to the laboratory. He busied himself with paperwork as they strapped their protesting prisoner to the lab table, then turned to face the rodent as they left. "I don't believe we've met," he said simply, not really caring what the answer would be.

no subject
Looking down at the meerkat, Vexen raised an eyebrow. There had been minimal struggle, and the subject had succumbed very quickly, at least from what he could see. Perhaps it had to do with the proportion of light as compared to his body size...or it was a reaction within the heart. Either way, if this reaction was valid and not simply an act, then Vexen's goal had been much more easily accomplished than he had originally believed.
Still, it wouldn't hurt to test. "Your name, if you would," he requested calmly, "and the names of the leaders of this Resistance." Any hesitation, any change in the tone of his victim's voice would show his state to be an act.
