Genie chuckled in agreement at the goddess. “Well, some I suppose. There are a few minor rules I’ve broken myself. Though I’d prefer to say I bent them more than actually broke them. I mean, some of them are simply not fair! To follow them would be a greater crime than to break them.” He threw his hands in the air and sighed. It was frustrating be a genie sometimes, more so then he liked to let on. Rubbing his hand against his forehead, the genie found himself reminded of the many times he had extended his power beyond what he was meant to.
He continued to look at Urd attentively, raising a brow when he noticed she was starting to stare at him. At first he suspected he had grown a third eye (it had happened before), but felt nothing when he brought his hand to his forehead for a second time. Genie wondered what she was thinking and soon what ‘burden’ she wished to share which called for such seriousness.
“What is it you wish of me?” the djinn asked jokingly but most curious than anything else. “I can’t manipulate the rules you follow if that’s what you’re wondering.”
