Oh. So that was the oddity she'd noticed. She couldn't quite put her figure on what he was, but he certainly wasn't human. Anything else, she couldn't put her finger on, but human wasn't one of the defining characteristics here. She wasn't going to ask, though. It would have been rude, not to mention possibly life-threatening.
