Rose was glad that the Doctor didn't get a hold of her journal... At least it was put back together. Hopefully it worked right otherwise she was fairly sure Donna would give him quite the mouthful.

Still, Rose quite liked the woman.

"Well, from our perspective 'never' is a fairly good term," Rose answers in response to the Genie's appearance. She grins, glad that they could finally do this. She doesn't say that their perspective comes from the idea that they Genie was just a movie character to them, although he might just enjoy it.
