paixaorpg | Where are you going? [Completed]

Content: Morrigan finished "ahead of schedule" and is wandering around.
Setting: In the center of Paixao, around Actua Are
Time: Late Wednesday Night

"He didn't last long at all with me... What a weakling." Morrigan was talking about her most recent victim, who was now without a soul. It was all thanks to Axel not having one of his own. Her time to feed was limited and she needed find someone quick. Locating a 'meal' wasn't all that difficult, but the experience itself wasn't all that exciting. Hell, she knew teenagers who lasted more than he did.

"Well whatever, I'm full and that's all that matters. The night's still so young though... It'd be a waste for me not to enjoy it."

The succubus wandered around the streets without any specific place to go to. Still being relatively new here, she was still unaccustomed to this... Paixao. Morrigan's thoughts focused on Axel and how he... had no soul. She would have to pay him another visit sometime, but not yet. No, she still wanted to see what the city had in store for her.

There sat a lonely boy on a bench, looking to be about 18 or so, straw hat tipped over his face, most liekly sleeping. Next to him sat a plate with a bunch of bones, cleaned of their meat. As Morrigan got closer she would no doubtedly hear the boy snoring loudly.

As Luffy slept he randomly blurted out things like "I want more cake Sanji," and "No Zoro, don't touch me there!" And as Morrigan got close enough Luffy immediately stood up, ready to fight. "Don't even try to steal my meat!" he said, his hat now pulled up so he could see. It was just some woman. And so he sat back down.

"Hi! I'm Luffy!"

Luffy's comment about the meat and his sudden awakening left Morrigan a tad confused. Were all the nocturnal people here like this? Then there was his earlier remark about being touched, but she decided not to bother for now. Besides, she probably had a good idea of what was going on in that dream of his.

Taking a moment to go over his appearance, she quickly noticed that he didn't look like any of the other civilians here, not at all. His hair was black instead of blond and his clothes... well, she'd rather leave it at that. With an eyebrow arched, the succubus introduced herself to him. "Well, hello. I'm Morrigan so very nice to meet you..." With her eyebrows still arched, she recalled his name. "What kind of name is 'Luffy'? I've never heard of it before."

Luffy smiled and then started laughing. Then he climbed on the bench, putting one foot on the bench and the other on the top of the back.

"Actually, my name is Monkey D. Luffy! And I'm the man who is gonna be King of the Pirates!" With his goofy grin there was no way anyone would believe such a boast. That didn't matter to him, he simply sat back down, and gnawed on a bone.

"Hi greenhair-lady. I have a friend with green hair! His name is Zoro! Do you know him?" he asked, with the bone still in his mouth.

"Zoro? Er... no, can't say that I have."

This boy just got weirder and weirder by the minute. What human in their right name would name themselves after such a filthy and disgusting animal? Morrigan watched him as he chew on the bone and concluded that his name might've been more fitting for him than she initially thought.

"King of the Pirates huh? It's good to have ambitions." So he was a pirate... Well, that explained his ridiculous outfit. "Though I've never seen such a young pirate."

"Too bad. I haven't seen any of my friends.." he said, somehow looking sad even as he chewed. Tossing the bone behind him, Luffy placed the straw hat that was hanging by a string around his neck back on top of his black hair.

"You don't believe me? I'm really gonna be King!" Luffy's face turned stern as he posed, holding his bicep. "I'm really tough! Oh! And," Luffy opened his mouth and pulled his face to the side, showing his rubberyness. "I'm a rubber man!" This made the pirate break out in laughter as he usually did when he showed people his power.

Smiling, Luffy moved closer to Morrigan.

"Do you have any dreams?" The reason Luffy had gathered his crew was to help fulfill his and his friend's dreams. He believed everyone should believe in themselves, even if he only looked like an idiot.

"A rubber boy... Now that's a first." Morrigan stared at Luffy as she started to get all sorts of 'ideas' on what she could do to his rubber body. How far he could be stretched, how resistant it was... among other things. She also wondered about how his soul was like. If it was just as 'rubbery' as him. Sadly, having just fed, that little inspection would have to wait for another time.

"Well I'm sure you're going to become a pirate with those kind of skills." she grinned at him. "My dreams? Oh they're nothing too grand. I just want to become Queen of the Night, that's all."

No one really knew, hell, Luffy didn't even know if everything could stretch. As for his soul? Meh.

"No! I AM a pirate!" he said correcting her. Often people used to call him a liar for saying he was a pirate until he attacked the World Government's Court Island to get back one of his friends. From then on he was truely known worldwide.

"Queen of the Night? What's that?" Luffy scratched his head under the hat, tilting his head sideways. "You're funny, lady!" the monkey boy grabbed another piece of meat and popped it into his mouth.

"Oh yes... my mistake, Mr. Pirate." Ambitious little scamp, wasn't he? And yet so young... and naive.

"Well, if I become Queen of the Night, I'll be able to have all sorts of fun. And the best part is, my fun will last forever. Doesn't that sound good?" He probably wasn't bright enough to understand what she was saying. Not that humans in general were smart either. "Once you become King, and I Queen... I'm sure we'll be able to do all sorts of interesting things together."

Ambitious was an understatement. He only wanted the hardest thing to attain in the entire Grand Line. And he would either die or become King.

While chewing on the meat he looked at her strangely.

"What kind of interesting things?" Luffy asked with the food in his mouth. He let that sink in for a moment or two, thinking about it...

"You mean go on adventures??"

Ah, so he at least some kind of a brain in that head of his, good. "Yes, that's it, adventures." Morrigan nodded. "You with your interesting rubber body, and me with my wonderful... people skills." And she was very good at socializing. "We could have all kinds of fun adventures together. Wouldn't you think so?"

"I love adventures! I will become Pirate King and we'll go on adventures!" Luffy jumped into the air pumping his fist, yelling, "Yahoo!" which caused a few of the lights above them to flick on.

Then Luffy thought of something.

"Wait, what are people skills?" he asked, scratching his head again. "Is that some kind of special power?" His eyes brightened up. "SHOW ME!" he yelled, looking excited.

"Yes... that's it. It's a very special ability that only a select few have, like me." Smiling at the 'pirate' Morrigan went up to him and stroked his chin a bit. "I could show you, but..."

"I'm afraid it's still too early for you to see. Come back when you're older, and I'll be glad to teach you all I know. If you're still alive that is..." said the green-haired woman before winking at him. "I think It's about time I took my leave. I'll be seeing you around Mr. Pirate. Good luck on becoming king."

Luffy was decidely dumbstruck. Not that unusual. He didn't know what she was doing touching his chin like that but it didn't matter.

"YOSH. I'll become Pirate King, you'll see!" How he was supposed to be a King when he didn't even know where the Grand Line never entered his head. "Good bye green-haired lady!" Luffy waved as he started walking off in a random direction, looking for the next fun thing.
