Tea Party [Open/Active]

Character(s): Merlin, anyone who wants to show up OPEN
Content: Merlin decides to have an open house/tea party
Setting: Villas Salonas
Time: Tea Time, Week 3
Warnings: ...None yet.
Notes: Party style. People are welcome to come and go as they please although if you want people arriving at the same time that's fine too XD

Merlin had a talk with the sugar bowl prior to the guests arriving, hoping to dissuade it from misbehaving and embarrassing him in front of his guests. Really, sometimes he wished he could get a new tea set but this one WAS a gift from a dear old friend and wasn't one he would part with...no matter how much the sugar bowl could act up.

Regardless, the tea was ready and hot and thanks to some of Merlin's magic would stay that way for quite some time longer than it normally would have. Cups and plates were set out and he had even gone so far as to have cookies and small sandwiches for those who cared to eat as well, and really what was tea without a small snack?

Sitting down into his large red chair, Merlin sat and waited for his guests to arrive.

To anyone who knew Cid particularly well, it would hardly come as a surprise to find him answering to the call of tea. Of course, he'd tell people he was mostly going for the conversation, but that wouldn't be entirely the truth.

So it really wasn't a surprise to find Cid having closed down his shop for the day before heading off to the place Merlin had mentioned. Time to see what the hell Merlin was like in person (he still wasn't entirely sure what to do with the knowing him but not thing).

If you had asked Cid how he was different from any other versions of him that might have been out there he would have had no idea where to even begin. Nonetheless, there were differences indeed. He'd left Venus Gospel at his place, but that wasn't the only one there was.

"Nice place."

Rosette wasn't normally one for tea - that tended to be Sister Kate's sort of thing. Merlin seemed like a pretty nice guy, though, and the tales of the rebellious sugar bowl intrigued her. She'd left a note for the Doctor (one of those sticky notes - they were fantastic) and headed for Merlin's place, knocking on the door when she arrived.

Given the actions of a certain "wise old man" back at the Order, Rosette would be grateful for Merlin's particular brand of company. "Only if you're Merlin," she joked, stepping inside. "Thanks for the invitation."
