Misplaced Angel [Complete]
Character(s): Angeal Hewley, open
Content: A fallen SOLDIER enters through Muspelheim gate.
Setting: Muspelheim gate, and wherever that may lead.
Time: Week 2, evening
Warnings: Possible swearing.
Was this... heaven?
He shouldn't have been here. It was too beautiful, too... otherworldly. There was a gate before him, consisting entirely of golden flames reaching the sky. Various people were in front of him, in a single-file line, and he continually wondered why he would be here.
He had fought against Zack, he'd died. He'd died a monster. Monsters didn't go to heaven. Monsters suffered. Glancing at his right shoulder, he noticed them; the two white wings that had been a longtime symbol of his shame still remained. Why? And how? This couldn't have been anywhere on Gaia... could it?
His turn in line to the booth. He caught the brochure with one hand and glanced at it a moment, mako-blue eyes furrowing at it with a bit of uncertainty. 'Paixao'? Where in Ifrit's name was that?
'I shouldn't be here. I should've faded away like I was supposed to. Monsters don't deserve second chances. I don't.'
Moving on the the queue, there was a second man, looking as though he were taking down some information.
'I've done too much.'
"Name?"
Why was that important? "...Angeal." He gruffed, still looking uncertain about all of this.
It was after a moment or two he was handed a small... computer? Laptop? "Welcome to Paixao. Enjoy your stay."
"...right." He muttered, slipping the computer under his arm and heading out into the city. First thing's first; get information. He didn't want to be here and he needed to know how long he would be.
'Better make the most of it, then.' He thought, beginning to head into the expansive city. Maybe someone around could tell him what the hell was going on here.

Of course, he wasn't going to be wearing that all too familiar cloak. Not here. Instead, he had switched it out in favor of a simple set of pants and shirt in varying shades of blue and silver. His hair and eyes, however, were left quite unaltered. What he wore would be enough to keep those who knew the coat of the Organization from suspecting him as one of their number.
And that left only one question. Who would come and speak to him first?

"It's called 'Paixao'," he answered simply, turning in Angeal's direction slightly. The rest he would save until the other asked. There was little need to give him more than he needed for the time being, after all.

"It's neither," he answered. To be honest he had little idea what the 'Lifestream' was. Gaia, though, that he understand. Some world out amongst all the others. "And you are quite alive."
It was hardly the first time someone who should have been dead had arrived in the city.

"It simply is."

"There's a variety of places to stay in the city," he answered, repressing the urge to sigh. "The most common would be the Actua Are hotels; you can find the locations on the journal's map."

After all, for all that there was some proper vegetation in the city now, thanks to the majority of it was just as it had been when he'd first arrived in the city. Clever imitations of flowers and grass; made with precious stones and metals.
Not entirely sure about the scenery still, and can rewrite if this is wrong.
Nope, you got it :Dd
"I presume that will be all for now?" Despite the wording of the sentence, it wasn't entirely as brusque at it might seem, a slight note of something nearing curiosity creeping into Saïx' voice.
Oh good~ Thank ya. ^^;

Not that he would enjoy the resulting conversations much, but there was little else that needed his attention at the moment.
