Kaworu's New Clothes [open]
Who: Kaworu and anyone near the Niflheim gate.
When: Monday morning
Where: The streets near the Niflheim gate, outside of a tailor's.
Kaworu felt much warmer and more acceptable in his new outfit. Simple slacks and a white button down with brown dress shoes. Nothing fancy, but it all worked out. He didn't have a coat or anything, and the work he did around the shop to pay off his outfit hadn't been enough for anything else, and he had no desire to stay doing mundane work when there was so much information to be had out in the city.
the city had artificiality written all over it. Contained in a dome, with no organic plant life and the strange people, almost soulless, milling about with so little real purpose. The Angel kicked his shoe against the cobblestone, walking rather than levitating as doing such was bound to attract attention eventually.
The little PDA in his pocket was a thankful lifeline of contact, at least. The map it provided was certainly a boon. At the very least he wouldn't get lost. With no Adam and no Seele, it seemed that for once his life was in his own hands, the road his own to choose. For the angel of Free Will, Kaworu acknowledged that Shinji was his only real choice in his life.
That was all going to change. With this first decision.
Kaworu just picked a fork in the road, and walked without sparing the map another glance.

The place looked just as creepily pleasant as it had outside. Elena found it a very unsettling thing, and the fact that she had been so accustomed to Midgar didn't help at all. Realizing that she had no idea at all where to go from, the blonde pulled out her new journal for the second time and tried to navigate her way through the confusing online world.
She had never been particularly good with electronics, however, and Elena soon frustrated herself with trying to find a map. She remembered the pamphlet that had been handed to her at the front saying something about the journal giving her access to a map, and started to sorely regret throwing the thing away after only a few glances.
Sighing as the image of the messageboard came up for the third time, Elena deemed finding the map herself hopeless. She watched a few people walking happily by, considering asking for help. But Elena had never been much of one to ask for help, and she had no urge to start now. Glancing down at the journal and pressing one more button hopefully, the thing turned off and she furrowed her brow in frustration. She would have to ask someone.
"Excuse me," Elena ventured to Kaworu as he walked past. He looked savvy enough, in her own opinion, and it wouldn't hurt if he couldn't help. "Um, do you know... how to work this thing?" Elena questioned, holding her journal up a bit. "I'm new to this city, and I keep getting the messageboard when I try to find the map on here..."

Kaworu turned to the small blonde woman, an easy smile on his face. She looked a few years older than he did, and no less new to this strange place.
"Oh, yes. I'm used to technology like this so it wasn't too difficult for me to find."
He took her journal and showed her the sequence of buttons to reach the map, then handed it back.
"It's quite a handy function. You won't get lost or anything, as long as you have somewhere to go. I'm afraid I'm new here as well. I'm jsut curious as to how and why I've found myself here."

Looking up, Elena considered Kaworu a moment. He seemed to be wearing clothes that fit in well enough, and he was certainly good with the journals. He was new as well? Interesting...
"I was just thinking that too, actually," Elena said with a small smile, half to herself and half to her companion. "Where are you from?" she questioned. The blonde had never seen Kaworu before, but if she could get some kind of pattern, it might answer a few questions that they both seemed to have. If he was from Midgar, perhaps the whole city was transported here for some reason, she theorized. There had to be some kind of rhyme or reason... right?

Kaworu tilted his head. That was a very good question.
"Well... I suppose I come from earth, a city called Tokyo-3. And you? Where were you before this city drew you here?"
She seemed to be wearing very professional attire. The Angel wondered if she was transported here in the middle of a board meeting.

Wondering a bit if it was even worth saying, Elena answered Kaworu's question with a simple, "Midgar." She severely doubted that he had ever heard of it, but she did take care to watch his face for a reaction just in case.
"... what do you mean, though, 'drew you here'? Do you know what this place is?"
