Flowers of Carnage [Active]
Character(s): Larxene and Marluxia
Content: Larxene visits Marluxia to discuss the new additions to the city.
Setting: xxxx
Time: xxxx
Warnings: evil and subtext
Once again she found herself reaching out through the darkness and finding her way to Marluxia's garden. She stepped easily through the pathway she cut through the inky blackness, moving in a moment from her library to the center of Marluxia's mazelike garden.
There were more things to discuss, after all. And it was best to discuss such things in person.
"Did you miss me?" she purred as the portal disappeared behind her.

He was interrupted from further thought as Larxene entered. It took him a moment to fully break himself away from his musings before he finally responded, a cordial smile spreading across his face. "Of course. It's been ages since we've seen one another after all."

"And, if you've wandered away from your garden at all, you must have noticed the addition to Paixao's landscape."
The wall of thorns, of course. It was convenient, that the barrier should be made of plants. Though for now Larxene could see no reason to bother with it. But perhaps later.

Marluxia wasn't sure as to whether their entrance was a blessing or a curse. On one hand, their involvement would likely delay any plans they had, but on the other hand, they'd provide an excellent distraction.
"What do you think of this?"

If they had any power to back up their intentions, then things would be far more interesting. And the wall of thorns seemed to prove that at least one of them had some sort of power. There was no way to be sure, of course, as to the level of power involved, but that was for the two of them to decide how to handle.
And then Larxene would form her own plans based off of that, of course. It wouldn't do for her to listen to Marluxia all the time.

Bargains and false promises could be made, but he knew little about the newcomers--something that would have to change soon. No doubt there would have to be spies in the would-be conquerors midst. They could definitely glean a little information from those who knew.

She giggled, summoning and balancing a kunai on the tip of her finger. "Not that I don't like violence, but it's nice to have a change of pace."

And yet they were just as likely to be nuisances. "As long as they don't overstate their welcome."

Of course, even then there was a way to make such a situation graceful. A way to pull the entire Organization down, perhaps. If the cards fell the way they wanted.
Oh my, perhaps Luxord was rubbing off on her.

Marluxia nodded thoughtfully. "Then we'll have to make sure that doesn't happen," he replied.
A moment of thought, and the Nobody spoke up again. "Perhaps we should attempt to bait our guests?" he suggested. His lips curled into a catlike grin. "It would be rude not to introduce ourselves, wouldn't it?"

Perhaps something would come of it. Perhaps they would have a few new temporary allies. Or perhaps they would have information. They wouldn't know until they knocked on their new neighbors' doors, right?

"In a few days, then?" he suggested. "We shouldn't keep them waiting any longer than necessary."

She summoned a portal now, the darkness somewhat more difficult to pull forth here but still flowing easily enough. She stepped through it before turning once more to Marluxia.
"I'll see you in a few days, then," she said, and the portal closed before her.
