She sent the dusks to retrieve her latest toy once more. She only had one more chance to really break the woman before she was out of Larxene's hands, and she wanted to make it count. But there was a lot for Larxene to work with; this woman had so many cracks. It was just a matter of ripping those little scratches open and making them gaping wounds.

Or, in some cases--many cases, actually--reopen wounds that were healing.

She wore her hood down today. She enjoyed the intimidation it added to her normally small figure.

Larxene smiled as Sara appeared, acting for all the world like a child who had gotten an especially good present for Christmas. She stood at the far side of the room; she would not go to Sara, Sara would come to her. It was a small bit of power, but it was power nonetheless.

"Welcome back," she chirped. "Did you have a good break?"
