Timon was more than surprised by the growing crowd. It wasn’t much, as great as the cause for such a gathering was, but certainly an odd turnout. He had been expecting Edward and Alexander, and the two men that had arrived shortly after him were practically necessary for such a job. However, he hadn’t expected the two girls. He hadn’t been expecting Simba either. The meerkat predicted things could, and in most likelihood, would become dangerous. What if one of them got hurt, especially the youngest one? The thought worried him.

“Staying out of trouble I see.” he replied to the lion teasingly, deciding to try and remain as cool as possible. There was no sense in yelling at Edward for allowing them to come along, at least not yet. Timon expected the Alchemist to start a raucous, whether it would turn into something seriously dangerous, or simply something that lead to them being escorted off the property were two different matters. If things began to lean toward the first possibility, he would be sure to let his lips loose and send them back to safety. At that note, he wondered what Edward had in mind as he caught a quick glance at the drawing he held up.

Looking back to Simba he nodded. “We could use an extra nose, and I could use the extra company.” A chuckle escaped him, “Alexander is too serious n’ draggin’ me down –not that I blame him... Alright, maybe a little, but we’ll find Nina, promise!”

‘At least, I hope we find her.’ the meerkat thought.
