Tabula Rasa [Active]
Characters: Luxord, Pride
Content: Experiment time, huzzah~
Setting: After all this time, you're still asking?
Time: Irrelevant.
Warnings: Luxord is, as always, creepy when he does this. Any questions?
This was the second blond person he'd had the pleasure of talking to this time around, and this time Luxord had picked him up himself. He waited silently as the Dusks strapped the boy down on the table, one of them placing the metal arm that had come off the boy's companion on an adjascent table. He waited until the boy was completely strapped down before approaching, looking down at him. He looked intriguing but still rather blank. Hm.
"Good evening," he began.

Those white creatures were strange... they felt almost like- like the Gate, but the complete opposite of the malice it seemed to project into every bone. And... how could he remember that? How could...
They were gone, and there was a man, a concentration of the same sense those white things had emanated. Pride didn't like it.
"Lost," he said softly, a brief glance at the arm telling him something had happened- was Edward hurt as well? "Edward is lost."

...that may have been overstepping the bounds a bit. Luxord didn't particularly care.

"Found-... found Alexander," Pride tried, words a jumble as his hands clenched and relaxed in their bindings- he should get out, should go away and find Edward again- and tried to remember. There had been a big door, that he could see from far away. "A gate..." Not the Gate, not that same horrendous thing.
He looked up at Luxord, lifeless eyes bright with frustration and fear over what had happened to his friends. "Want Edward back."

"Well, allow me to be of assistance," he said lightly, tone giving no hint to his next action - walking straight through the boy strapped to the table.

At the same time, this person was... wanting to be 'assistance,' and that, Pride had to consider. He must have heard that word somewhere before... He blinked up at Luxord at an odd angle, tilting his head to properly see.
"Find Edward?"

There were so few memories in here, some of which ran to the distasteful side of the spectrum, that he wasn't certain where to start. How to break someone who seemed to have just as few emotions as he did?
From the top down, he supposed. Better than the alternative.
"So," he began, "do you believe Envy misses you? It certainly seems like he might."

The memory flickered and faded, instead replaced by another, that of the Envy he'd seen here. He hadn't been remembered. Had been killed once.
No... Envy would only miss hurting him. Smiling like the act that would tear skin from face and taking pleasure in it.
"Brother... misses hurting," he offered softly.

"I'm sure he does," he continued. "Just think of what he'll do wen he sees you again." It was obvious, but it should work.

He remembered that Father had stopped Envy once, too blinded and numb from blood loss and ache to know anything but a powerful, deep voice in nothing more than a bark. It had taken a long time for the pain to stop after that, but it did.
Pride's eyebrows had drawn up, lips curled downward, laying before Luxord as nothing more than a child fearing his brother's hard hand, cornered like a beat, whimpering dog.
"Want to go home," he managed through a constricted throat. Not Home, but home, with his friends and away from this person who he did not like one bit.

He stared at Luxord, but then glanced away, and shook his head. Not back to Envy. Not back to the Home he'd had before, but the home he had here.
"Sasori," he tried. "Zetsu. Edward?"
no subject
"I'm afraid they won't be coming back," he replied. No skin off his nose, really, especially since it wasn't true. "You see, they had more urgent matters to attend to. So sorry."
