Quick Pickup [Active]
Character(s): Chrono, Rose, and the Doctor
Content: The Doctor and Rose go to collect up Chrono in hopes of helping him find Rosette.
Setting: St. Destino Hospital
Time: Uh. Yes.
Warnings: Nil
The Doctor was more than a little worried about Rosette. She'd never even replied his message to her. Someone had frightened her utterly. Someone male, apparently, and the Doctor certain had a pretty good guess of who that could be, although he couldn't be sure, but then again, he wasn't often wrong, was he?
Setting the TARDIS down near St. Destino in a convient alleyway, the Doctor stepped from the TARDIS, looking around. Right, this was the place. Now to find Chrono.
Course, this was the easy part. Finding Rosette was going to be much more difficult. The Doctor hadn't meant to lose track of her, but he had. Something he was sorely regretting now. Oh well, they'd soon find her. Somehow.
Then there was the matter of Donna. Donna was waiting for him in Joutenheim. She was probably getting impatient by now, actually, but he did say as soon as he could. Didn't say when... exactly. Well, hopefully they could find Chrono then head there while they tried to figure out where to find Rosette.
"Come on Rose, let's find Chrono," he spoke aloud to Rose, who he presumed was in tow.

She followed the Doctor out of the TARDIS, keeping an eye out, although she didn't know who they were meeting up with, or even what he looked like, but the Doctor did, and that was what mattered.
So quite right, Rose followed along with the Doctor, right on his heels.

But to be honest, he wasn't getting anywhere on his own. It was a pathetic truth. He needed someone who knew the area to help him. Apparently someone was coming who knew just that, or at least that could be assumed so. Damn, he didn't even get their name. He was becoming careless and not thinking things through. He had no description of this person or anything. All he could do was wait at the location he described and hope they, whoever they were, would make it there in decent time.
Five minutes or so had passed, or at least it felt like five minutes, since Chrono began waiting in front of the hospital. He stood still by the entrance, every now and then he would take a few steps back and forth, as if pacing to see if anyone were walking towards him. The little pictures during the communication were not much help right now. The situation just did NOT seem good.

"Chrono!" the Doctor called as he paced up to him fairly quickly. The Doctor was in a bit of a rush.
"Hello! Sorry to keep you waiting," the Doctor greeted as he came to a stop, trench coat ends settling back around him as he pulled his hands from his pockets. "Right, shall we be off?"
He was cutting right to the chase and he realized as soon as he said it he was doing that slightly rude thing again, but they really were in a bit of a hurry here. Oh, but wait, he hadn't even introduced himself had he? He kept forgetting Chrono here didn't remember anything. That was a bit troubling, but none-the-less, Rosette would be very glad to see him either way, that the Doctor had no doubt of.
He seemed to back-peddle a bit as he spoke, looking somewhat apologetic, "Wait. Sorry, I'm getting carried away, aren't I? I'm not like this all the time. Well, not most of the time anyways. Well, maybe a little..."
"Right, this here is Rose," the Doctor said, nodding towards Rose, "and I'm the Doctor."

That was the Doctor all right - getting carried away. She gave him a look when he nearly went off which much of a word, something rather comical, as he did have a habit of running his tongue in the strangest of situations. She glanced at the boy who she assumed was Chrono and nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. "Hello."
But then, they did have to hurry, didn't they? They had to go see that.. Donna woman too (which was strange, since she seemed to know Rose, but Rose and the Doctor were pretty clueless, and they were both normally good with faces). "Hope we didn't keep you waiting long, and we shouldn't keep Rosette any longer, yeah?"

As the introductions went short and sweet, Chrono only nodded. They already knew him, right? Or at least that was the claim. But besides that he didn't feel like sitting and chatting just yet. "Right." He said in acknowledgment to Rose's response. "Thank you for the help." He took a step forward, eager to get moving. Given the circumstances he would've charged ahead but, oh right he had no idea where he was going. All he could do for now was play follow the leader and hope they would go in the right direction.

"I'm afraid we have to do a quick stop at Joutenheim gate. Don't worry, shouldn't take long. Just, it's apparently important," the Doctor explained, as he led them into an alleyway where the TARDIS sat, unlocking the door, he push the door open and did a 'after you' motion.
Hopefully whatever Donna needed wouldn't take long, or perhaps they could just pick her up for a bit. He was still a bit puzzled by Donna. Rose, of course, didn't know her, but she seemed to know Rose, which was... odd. She wouldn't explain anything though and, of course, the Doctor couldn't fault her for it.
