Almost. The little brats hadn't been hard at all to send away, after all.... What made her so confident that they hadn't been crushed to a pulp by now in one of Wizeman's great hands?

And besides that, there was that little question of a cage.... NiGHTS had been trapped when Helen was sent off. With both Visitors out of the picture, there should have been nobody around to set her free.... How had she managed that? With what trick of fate? Perhaps some other errant Visitor had stumbled upon her.... Of all the dumb luck! NiGHTS did seem to have a good track record of fortuitous coincidences like that.....
