An Attempt at a Rescue Attempt (active)
Character(s): AndrAIa, Chrono, Terra, Makoto, Zidane
Content: Assembling the Clan to rescue Rosette
Setting: Clan Centurio HQ, I7
Time: Late evening
Warnings: None
She had run all the way here.
"Zidane!" AndrAIa yelled. The foyer was empty; her voice echoed, as did the slam of the door behind her. "Zidane! Are you here?"
His last post said he would be here, and AndrAIa very much hoped he was. She had gone for a bit of rest and for a bite of energy -- and had found that energy in this world of users looked positively disgusting. She'd regret it later; right now, the only thing that mattered was the message she had received while sitting at the cafe table. Rosette was in trouble.
AndrAIa would have already started searching for her -- but she needed help. She was new here, and she needed to know where Rosette had gone after the fight with Sin...and if there was someone who could track her down. If Frisket were here...
...But he wasn't.
Sighing, AndrAIa cupped her left hand to her mouth. Her right already clasped her trident -- just in case. "Zidane!"

The best bet he had right now seemed to be heading to some strange location practically 3 miles or so away. Besides that he couldn't get any other information, including who it was that spoke to him. The whole situation seemed like a giant trap. But what other choice did he have for now? Hopefully he could speak to... whoever it was once he got there. Whether or not the conversation ended well, he couldn't say yet.
A while later, and much closer to his supposed location Chrono could hear someone calling for... something. It was enough to check out. Maybe whoever it was could help. He walked over into plain sight of the person yelling and they had a weapon. Well, this would end up being a very interesting conversation at this rate. Chrono didn't say anything but instead just walked forward a ways. For now, he couldn't tell whether anything was a threat or not so he was best just on his guard.

"I'm sorry," she said, as soon as the individual had opened the door. "I didn't mean to scare you. We just don't have time to chit-chat."
"I'm AndrAIa. Rosette is one of the few friendly people I've met here." And there were too few of those to let something happen to any of them! The sprite moved with a certain grace and confidence about her, and although her attitude was brisk (she was clearly in a hurry,) she looked worried and her words were cautious. "Rosette left a message a while ago, and now she won't tell anyone where she's hiding." Gently, she added, "I assume you haven't heard it. Would you like to?"
Her own journal was out. She approached him with that same gentle confidence, green hair swaying with each movement of her well-toned body. At his nod, she pressed play (http://nun-with-guns.livejournal.com/1841.html).
(OOC Note: the journals *do* show pictures of the users, so he'll recognize AndrAIa as well! Linked back to Rosette's last journal entry.)

By the time she reached the Headquarters, she was mildly winded - it was far easier (and more fun) to simply fly from place to place, but she decided not to try that just yet. How many citizens looked up anymore anyway? As she stepped through the door, she heard the voices of two others - and a third, coming from a recording of some sort.
Rather than lurk in the doorway like a rude guest, she cleared her throat softly. "Hello? You must be.. AndrAIa, right?" She cast an inquisitive glance over her surroundings, "I'm Terra," she added for the benefit of the pair, ".. I'm new here - to the city and the Clan. I thought I'd come and help if I could, when I saw your message."

When she entered the headquarters, she heard voices talking inside already. She didn't want to seem rude, so she knocked on the entryway before walking fully inside.
"Excuse me...I saw a post about meeting here...to help."

The voice post he had heard made Chrono feel nearly helpless. Dammit, why hadn't he been there? And who was she-- Aion? Was Aion the one that caused this? Chrono's worries were only increasing and it didn't feel like he was getting anywhere by staying here. He couldn't just stand around and wait. He had to find her. This day was just becoming worse and worse.
"I have to find her." He said, more to himself than anything. "Please, tell me if you find out anything." He waited for a response of some sort, anything would do. With that he ran back outside. He'd search this whole place if he had to. How else could he find her? Dammit, why did she even do this in the first place? And why wasn't he there?

And then he was gone.
AndrAIa lifted her eyes to the ladies who had just entered, giving them a worried smile. "Come in. Terra? I'm AndrAIa." That left just one more introduction....
With a sweep of her hand, she said, "Well, I think we should begin -- and, hopefully, others will show up to help us run a search program in a few nanos... Either of you know this sector?"
It also looked like Zidane wasn't going to come out -- if he was even here at all. But if he saw her message on the boards, he'd come to help if he could.

Zidane had been resting. It was a good, nice, complete-out-cold rest. Until the sounds from far beyond the room he had holed himself up in begun to break into his consciousness, and he grabbed his pillow and threw it at the door as if that would help. Except then he was out of a comfortable pillow.
What logic that had been. With a low groan he hefted himself out of bed, shifted to the floor, and walked across the room, grabbing the pillow, opening the door, and walking down to the open hall. He blinked at the small gathering, wondered slightly how bad he must look, and then asked, "I missed something, didn't I?"

What a strange way to say it - if she meant, 'help look for the frightened woman' as Terra thought she did. Ah well. She moved aside a bit to allow Makoto to come nearer, and shook her head at the other green haired woman, "I'm afraid not. I only arrived in Paixao a couple of days ago, and - well, I'd only just recently started looking around."
Ah, one boy left and in came another - and it looked like he was still sleepy given that he still had a pillow in his hand. Tactfully, Terra didn't giggle, "I'm afraid so - you're Zidane, right?" She did speak with him briefly over the journal after all. Makoto, on the other hand, she didn't know. Nonetheless, she would leave the explanation (and introduction) to AndrAIa.

No one else got it -- Zidane included. Nevermind.
Still smiling at him, she said, "It's cute, Sparky." Then her smile slid away, until only a trace of it remained. Her eyes, however, were hard. "Rosette's in trouble."

"I'm Makoto." She said as she reached the other women, and bowed slightly. "I would like to help in any way that I can."

"Rosette's in trouble."
"Where is she?" he asked, voice serious. All at once the sleep wore off and every bit of him was awake. "What happened to her?"

She recognized the blond boy from his reply to her post on the message board and turned her friendly smile on him. "Zidane, are you still hurt? I have never attempted to heal someone before, but I believe that it should be within my capabilities."

"Fran, sorry about that, I just kinda rushed off." And she had, once she read the message on where to meet.

Zidane nodded as Terra went off. "Sounds good. Keep in touch! If you find out anything, give us a heads up." So there was Chrono and Terra out looking, that was fairly good. He just hoped that wherever Rosette was, she hadn't gone back near Sin. That would be a bad thing - and just plain reckless.
"Rosette's dressed like a nun," he told Makoto. "And she's got a gun." He grinned a bit lopsidedly at that. "Or... she does normally. If she's in a lot of real trouble, she may not have it anymore."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess splitting up would work. There's four of us here, we can each cover a gate. How's that sound, AndrAIa?" He turned to her... or where she... had been. His body tensed, tail straightening in the air. "AndrAIa?! Where did..." He looked to the others in a bit of a panic. "Did you guys see where she went?!"
