Lost Devil is Very Lost [COMPLETED]
Character(s): Chrono
Content: Arrival~!
Setting: Niflheim Gate and around the area, I suppose?
Time: Evening
Warnings: ... Nothing.
"Wait! Rosette!" It was a pointless call for her to slow down. She was long gone by now and the noisy crowds made Chrono's calls sound mute. What the heck had caught her attention so quickly? Did she forget something? No, that couldn't be it. All he could do really was try and chase after her. Something had to be up.
"Grr, excuse me! Sorry!" He announced while bumping into people and attempting to squeeze by. Some of them wouldn't move though and he nearly crashed into someone. He hadn't closed his eyes too long from the impact. This was not working. At this rate Rosette would be half way back to New York by the time Chrono got out of this crowd. But that wouldn't be the case for long.
"Sorry but I-- huh?" He looked around a little. What happened to the crowd? He walked a bit towards a line that seemed to stretch a ways towards a huge ice-like door. Well, one thing was certain, this was definitely not San Francisco. But then where was he and better yet, what happened to Rosette? He walked passed part of the line until he started getting cold glares and remarks about how rude he was to cut in line. Oops. But finding Rosette was more important right now than a few angry people against him. Chrono sped up his pace towards the front. What exactly was in the door?
"Uh, excuse me but--" He couldn't say much else before he was cut off. "Welcome to Paixao. Here you go!" ... What? Chrono glanced at what was just given to him. A thingy gizmo...? It looked like something the Elder would make but h-- wait. Paixao? This wasn't good. "I'm trying to find someo--"
"Please keep moving~!" The person who had 'welcomed' him ordered. Chrono was then nudged inside the gate. "Wait! I'm trying to find..." Dammit. This really wasn't good. He walked anxiously down the road leading to ... whatever it was. He was getting worried, really worried. He looked down to the ground a moment. Why was he still carrying that weird thing he was given? What did it even do? Maybe it had a map or something of use. He paused his steps to peak at it. It was the best and what seemed his only hint to figuring out what the HELL was going on.

That wasn't to say he didn't have an idea. Of course he did. He had heard a few of those names thrown around before, and when that information was accompanied with the informant, well, then it became child's play.
The group coming through today seemed to be mainly made up of citizens so far, and Marluxia was about to wander off somewhere else when he noticed a patch of purple amongst the blonds. Finally.
"It's a journal," Marluxia offered, approaching the young man. "It's meant for communication, but it also has a map. Much more useful than you would first think."
no subject
He turned to face the man. "Oh, I didn't realize that. Thanks." Chrono paused a moment. This guy caught him at a bad time, he had way too many questions and this man might fall prey to answering some. "Can you find people using this too?" Onto the most important question, at least. He could figure out the rest on his own.
no subject
"You could," Marluxia responded. "As I said, it's meant for communication. You could always address who it is you're looking for, leave a description, whatever you like. It's public, so I'm sure some good samaritan will have some information to give."
He kept a pleasant smile on his face the entire time despite the young man's worry. "Michael, by the way," he added with a gesture to himself.
no subject
"Right, thanks. I'll try asking."
The smile was a bit weird but certainly this guy wasn't so bad. He seemed helpful enough. "Chrono." He didn't smile too largely, but it was better than the frown he had on.
He'd have to get moving soon, then. Rosette might be a ways away. Or worse, it really was some illusion. Still, Chrono couldn't tell for now. Rosette might not have even come this way. Could he get back outside still?

Marluxia nodded. "Maybe I could be of some assistance in the meantime? Who are you looking for?" he asked, head cocking to the side questioningly.
((Gah, short... Sorry. >.O))

"She's a nun, so that may help. She has blond hair and blue eyes. She's also pretty loud so you can't really miss her." He laughed a little to himself. Tornado Rosette. Ha! "Oh, also her name's Rosette." He added. He figured if Michael did bump into her he should confirm her name. At least Rosette was a rare enough name, Chrono hoped.
'I should get moving...'Chrono thought as he glanced at the sky. It was getting pretty late and more than likely Rosette was going further away. He had to get moving if he wanted to find her. Damn, if only he could fly it would be SO much easier. "Please, tell me if you see her." He said giving a weird smile and walking away a little in an aimless direction. Chrono had no clue where to even start.

As the young man walked away, Marluxia brought out his journal, flipping it open and taking another look through the recent messages.
Well then, it seemed as though Chrono was out of luck, at least for now. Marluxia wasn't about to interfere in a game, especially since he had already state he'd stay out of it. It would just be in bad taste.
But he supposed he would keep his word. If only out of curiosity.
