A happy reunion... I think. [ Complete ]

Character(s): Rabi and Allen.
Content: Meeting up again (after the crack post on the message boards).
Setting: O Pastor.
Time: Wednesday morning.
Warnings: None.

"EXTEND!!"

He was at it again. As if he hadn't learned from running into the gates at Muspelheim, Rabi was using his hammer to jump long distances. It made getting from that gate to their designated meeting place much faster.

The only problem with this was that he didn't know exactly where O Pastor was. He knew his journal had a map, but he couldn't just memorize that map in a few minutes. He had no clue what this place looked like, and knowing him he'd sail right over it without even knowing. Rabi decided to risk it and use his hammer and the map on his journal at the same time.

Really, he had to stop using that journal. It was getting him into an awful lot of trouble.

With one hand firmly gripping the handle of his hammer and the other clutching the metallic red journal, Rabi sailed above Paixao towards O Pastor. At the same time, he watched a little blinking crosshair move across the screen on his map, getting closer and closer to the point that read O Pastor. In no time, the little crosshair had reached that point.

... what now?

Crap, he thought to himself, fumbling with the journal as he tried to shove it back in his pocket. He had planned out how he was going to get there, but not how he was actually going to land.

"Retract! RETRACT!" he called out, the handle on his hammer shrinking and gradually lowering him back down into the city. When he was close enough, he extended his legs and let them touch the ground, making for a very rough landing. Just as he skidded to a halt, however, he noticed that he was heading right for some merchant's little shop.

And the shit hit the fan.

"HEY!" a tall, intimidating man - presumably the merchant - called out, running out to survey the damage done to his store. "I HOPE YOU PLAN ON PAYING FOR ALL THAT, KID."

Rabi looked up like a deer caught in the headlights. "Well... uh..." he started, peeling bits of a squashed tomato off his face.

"Well?" asked the merchant, arching a brow.

"...WHAT'S THAT?!"

And, once he'd successfully gotten the man to turn and look away, the young exorcist bolted down the street. As he passed O Pastor, he grabbed the door and practically tore it off its hinges trying to open it. Rabi tumbled into the rundown establishment, stopping only when he hit a wall.

Again, little angry Bookmen were spinning around his head.

Why me?

The sudden tug of his body into the other's arms made him gasp in surprise. He merely struggled to get out of Rabi's grasp as he messed up his hair, once again. But this time, he did it lightheartedly, until he gave up, and hugged back briefly. "It would've been lonely... wouldn't it? I'd hate to feel that again," he said sadly, but probably too vague for others to understand what exactly that is. "Squirt?" He changed the subject. "I'm not that little!"

The boy had many secrets, but he didn't have the feel to discuss it with anyone, yet.

"Now," Allen said. "Where exactly are we going...? To get a meal? I wonder where a good restaurant is."
