A happy reunion... I think. [ Complete ]
Character(s): Rabi and Allen.
Content: Meeting up again (after the crack post on the message boards).
Setting: O Pastor.
Time: Wednesday morning.
Warnings: None.
"EXTEND!!"
He was at it again. As if he hadn't learned from running into the gates at Muspelheim, Rabi was using his hammer to jump long distances. It made getting from that gate to their designated meeting place much faster.
The only problem with this was that he didn't know exactly where O Pastor was. He knew his journal had a map, but he couldn't just memorize that map in a few minutes. He had no clue what this place looked like, and knowing him he'd sail right over it without even knowing. Rabi decided to risk it and use his hammer and the map on his journal at the same time.
Really, he had to stop using that journal. It was getting him into an awful lot of trouble.
With one hand firmly gripping the handle of his hammer and the other clutching the metallic red journal, Rabi sailed above Paixao towards O Pastor. At the same time, he watched a little blinking crosshair move across the screen on his map, getting closer and closer to the point that read O Pastor. In no time, the little crosshair had reached that point.
... what now?
Crap, he thought to himself, fumbling with the journal as he tried to shove it back in his pocket. He had planned out how he was going to get there, but not how he was actually going to land.
"Retract! RETRACT!" he called out, the handle on his hammer shrinking and gradually lowering him back down into the city. When he was close enough, he extended his legs and let them touch the ground, making for a very rough landing. Just as he skidded to a halt, however, he noticed that he was heading right for some merchant's little shop.
And the shit hit the fan.
"HEY!" a tall, intimidating man - presumably the merchant - called out, running out to survey the damage done to his store. "I HOPE YOU PLAN ON PAYING FOR ALL THAT, KID."
Rabi looked up like a deer caught in the headlights. "Well... uh..." he started, peeling bits of a squashed tomato off his face.
"Well?" asked the merchant, arching a brow.
"...WHAT'S THAT?!"
And, once he'd successfully gotten the man to turn and look away, the young exorcist bolted down the street. As he passed O Pastor, he grabbed the door and practically tore it off its hinges trying to open it. Rabi tumbled into the rundown establishment, stopping only when he hit a wall.
Again, little angry Bookmen were spinning around his head.

He was still in his exorcist uniform, as always, although a bit torn from the 'incident,' or so called. At least he got the money now, although still not all that much... it's enough for him to live in the same hotel for a couple of days or hell, maybe even more.
Allen brushed the silvery bangs behind his ears as he as his gaze landed down to the magazines before him, and he sat up, reaching for them. Just as he was about to grab the magazine of his own choice, a loud 'BANG' was heard, and horrified, he merely jumped.
"..WHAT?!" he exclaimed from sheer surprise. Everybody did, in fact.
Timcanpi, who had been floating around him, instantly reacted to the new incomer. It approached to the person, using its teeth to tug at the other's clothes. Allen's eyes followed Timcanpi until it reaches Rabi.
Wait. Rabi?!
Allen practically jumped out of his seat and rushed over to the injured man, giving him rough shakes, trying to wake him up from his daze. "Rabi!! Wake up!!" He commanded.
These were moments where he didn't know whether to hug the man for actually coming, or scold at him for making such an... awkward entrance to a casual hotel. But hell, he was really happy... even if he was quite embarrassed for his friend, he couldn't tear the grin away from his face.

"It's Allen!" he said, half laughing. He was too caught up with happiness to be all obsessive compulsive over the
petnamesnicknames of his. "Of course I missed you! I thought I was here alone..." Allen trailed off, a little sad expression flashed on his face before returning to its happy self. "But now you're here!"He pushed himself up to a standing position, holding out a helping hand to the elder of the two, smiling.

He continued supporting the other, since Rabi seemed to be in some lack of energy after all of that, and so he decided to give a silent agreement of holding on to the other... but only until the older man find himself the energy to support on his own, because this was really getting uncomfortable, especially with the many stares they were given. Allen was never the type to like too much attention when not needed.
As soon as Rabi gave the mention of his 'girlfriend', or in other words, Lady, he immediately blushed, cutting a line through the silent agreement as he shoved the other away. "She is not my girlfriend!" He scolded, eyes twitching.

"I'm here to sleep, of course," he said as if it was the most obvious of things. "I've already slept outside once, and it was freezing. Miss Lady lent me some money, along with the fact that I had something on me that was actually worth something..." He trailed off, one of his hands rested on his chin as he thought on, which was interrupted by a growl. "...Are you hungry?" Hey, it was a good start for a conversation. ...Almost.

"I've got some money, if you want to go eat something, you know." Allen beamed, smiling. "But if we do that, we'll have to waste a night outside, sleeping," he said easily, as if it was no big deal. "Unless we get a job somewhere..."Allen really wanted a job, because the lack of money was killing him. He could easily regain the money by using tactics he used back then to pay off the bills for his master... but the people here didn't seem like gamblers. He'd be surprised if they even know what 'cards' are. Allen sighed.
"So what do you think?" he continued on, tapping his chin. "Starving yourself wouldn't help much to the situation," Allen said as he gave him a sympathetic look. "Maybe we should just go out and get something to eat... and think of a way to stay in the hotels later."

He watched as the other was having some kind of a mental conflict, and he easily guessed that it was whether to go for the food or the hotel room. When Rabi gave him his final decision, he nodded in approval. "I thought we should do that too!" He said, grinning. But truthfully, he already ate earlier. ...But hell, it'd never hurt to have another meal. There are plenty room in his stomach, since his metabolism is almost like at rocket speed.
Allen then began to walk towards the door, expecting Rabi to follow him as he did so. As he pushed at the door, he turned around at Rabi's question. "Ah, yeah, it was a loss, but at least we'd get something to eat from it. It's no big deal, really." Allen gave him a reassuring smile before stepping outside.
"So, have you heard anything about Kanda? Or the Bookman? Komui? Or..." He trailed off, frowning a little. "...Linali? ...I really miss them all..." Before he could get all emotional, he turned his head to face Rabi. "Of course, I missed you too!"

The boy had many secrets, but he didn't have the feel to discuss it with anyone, yet.
"Now," Allen said. "Where exactly are we going...? To get a meal? I wonder where a good restaurant is."

As he finally neatened up his hair, he plopped the hood of his exorcist uniform over his head, uttering a curious 'hm?' when he heard a yell of distress towards their direction. And before he knew it, he was literally on Rabi's shoulder, about to take off. "What is going on!?" He panicked. This was really not the thing he had in mind of a 'happy reunion.' “Where are we go--eeee!” And they were off, with Allen holding on to Rabi as if his life was depended on it.

As the other yelled out the command, Allen brainstormed (not really), thinking of the name that first popped up in his head. “…Go to Vanaheim!”

“So then… where are we going?!” Allen exclaimed, rather distressed. He didn’t want to be lost… even with the map. It would be useless having the map and you have absolutely no idea where you are. The ‘bean sprout’ secretly hoped that there are signs. If there are, he must’ve not paid attention much to realize that there was some.
At the command, Allen held on tighter to the hammer, hoping that this wouldn’t be the last time to see the sun as he squeezed his eyes shut.

As soon as they landed, the younger of the two inhaled and exhaled deeply, and then went for the gold. “What the heck was that all about?!” he exploded, expecting an explanation to both questions: why was that guy after him and why didn’t they go to Vanaheim? Not that it exactly mattered… but he did promise to tell him what happened in detail. He was looking forward to hear this… it seemed pretty private, in whatever ways.
When he found that he was calm enough to talk, he sighed, an annoyed expression painted on his face. “…Let’s talk about that later… but for now,” he scanned around the area, noticing the hotel. “…I’m actually kinda sleepy… so err…” he said, a bit hesitant, motioning over to the hotel. “It’s one of those expensive hotels… I’m sure they have those free-food services in the lobby. …I think?” he said, a bit hopeful.
He glanced at the hotel and Rabi again, and then grabbed hold of the other’s wrist, pulling him towards the hotel. “I guess we’ll have to find out! I think I might have enough to stay here for one night.”
