Kid grinned at Dan and Obito. "Beauty! That means we've settled with each other, mates!" Which meant, of course, that Kid held them to be all right and that she was pleased to have found two friendly faces so early.
The girl looked at the journal Obito was holding, and nodded, pulling out her own journal from the pouch she had tied to her hip. "I've never seen 'em in me own world," Kid replied, tugging slightly at her braid in thought, "but I've seen just about everyone in this weird place with 'em." She'd toyed with her journal a couple of times, talking through it to other people and looking at the information the device had to offer.
Kid crossed her arms, looking around her at the staring passerby. "Y'know," she mused to her companions, "maybe we oughta get t'somewhere else. S'not exactly a good idea t'stand around when we're all so different-looking from ev'ryone else." Then again, they had already been standing out here, talking for who-knows-how-long.
