The Crumpled Flower. [Closed]

Character(s): Axel, Kadaj.
Content: Axel takes Kadaj to the "Savage Garden".
Setting: Guess. :P
Time: The morning after his capture.
Warnings: Um... kind of sick, in a way. People cages.

Axel had reappeared at the same spot he’d held Zexion at before, on the lofty cliff overlooking the jungle. The unconscious Kadaj was held close to him still, of course, and with only a second’s worth of a glance over the land, he had turned around, retreated into the brush, and finally set the silver haired individual’s body down – against that same tree, too.

Undoing his black coat, Axel slipped out of it and set it beside him. He neglected to remove anything else; the gloves still on to hide his hands, the bruise on the left slowly crawling up his wrist. He didn’t seem to mind much. When he was finished, he picked up the small form again, and slung it over his shoulder – leaving his coat where it was as he began to traipse through the forest.

Heading down to the river, Axel hopped into it and teleported the second his feet left the ground – reappearing on the other side, at the mouth of the ancient stone head. Giving it one glance over, Axel smirked to himself and stepped around it – it’d be about impossible to hold onto Kadaj and pass through the narrow space that the entrance offered without swimming in the water, which Axel would NOT consider an option. Apparently he made use of another secret “magic-enabled” spot – directly behind the ear of the head.

Seconds later, they were inside what Axel had unconsciously begun to refer to as “the boiler room”. The geysers bubbled quietly but anxious, though Axel seemed to not make much notice of them. Kadaj was taken to the back and set down on a rock which doubled as a chair of sorts, and he promptly began to strip him. In the end he decided to actually give him the decency of keeping his pants (for now) though, mostly because the straps were very irritating and Axel had no means to readily rip the leather.

Once he was finished, he stepped back, and looked at him, biting his bottom lip thoughtfully. His eyes lit up with a mischievous delight however, making note of some plants idly growing in the corner beside him. He reached over and plucked off a bright, fiery orange flower – and set it in Kadaj’s hair. When he thought he was “complete” Axel’s eyes wandered to the side, and he laughed softly to himself.

Some sort of weird crank was there, with a rope attached to it. It stretched upward, all the way to the ceiling, connected to what seemed to be a system of ropes. So far, only one cage hung up there. Slowly, he eased it down – apparently, it was directly above one of the geysers. Hoisting Kadaj’s body up onto his shoulder again, he began to carry him over to the cage. Nudging it open, the boy’s body was then promptly and none-too-gently thrown into the thing. Axel moved back quickly, as the force of the sudden weight in the cage caused it to swing. When it came toward him, he caught one bar with his good hand, and closed and locked it with the other, then released it.

He moved farther back, and looked him over once, how his form lay pathetic on the floor of the thing. The flower looked rather crumpled now.
