So the former High summoner could cast NulShock? That would be mildly inconvenient if left untended to. Admittedly his Sin was more than capable of utilizing other sorts of attacks if it felt they did, but why let one man nullify one aspect of it when he was perfectly capable of throwing a wrench into the former High Summoner's potential plans? Besides, it wasn't like he was going to be doing all that much else except watching from inside the beast.

Therefore there was no one to see the slight smirk that crossed his face as he cast a simple Silence on Braska. Much better.

As for Sin, it could hardly be claimed to be quite as good at scheming as the man who sat inside it, but it was nonetheless a force to be reckoned with. It was lightning, it was anger, it was rage - it would not yield so easily to the forces massed before and it meant to show them just that, jaws yawning open as Sin roared its fury to the sky.

And if its lightnings hadn't had any appreciable effect then it would just have to try another tactic, as all around Sin and its attacker a roaring wind rose up, tearing at buildings and clothes, swirling and throwing anything it picked up at anyone hapless enough to get in its path.
