Huh? Where Ayla? [Closed. Bothering Briar now. :3]
Characters: Ayla (and whoever wants to join!)
Content: Ayla's arrival in Paixao
Setting: Joutenheim gate and beyond
Time: Tuesday afternoon/evening/whatever.
Warnings: Angry cavegirls.
"Go away sun..." She muttered drowsily, turning over to lie on her stomach. She sighed, curled up, and was just about to fall back asleep when her eyes snapped open. "Sun?" She sat up quickly, instantly alert. "Why Ayla outside? Where hut?" She got to her feet, taking a few steps in a random direction, looking around anxiously.
"Where other huts? Where village? Where Kino?" Frowning, Ayla continued to walk forwards, very confused. Where was her village? Where were the mountains she was so accustomed to seeing? Off in the distance she could see a large...something. It didn't look like a mountain though... As she got a little closer, she noticed a line of people standing as though they were waiting for something. Ayla ran up to one of them, slightly distressed.
"What this place?" She asked, looking up at them with bright blue eyes. "Where mountains?"
The person didn't seem to want to answer. Frustrated, Ayla walked up to someone else. "What this place? You know Kino?"
Still nothing.
Ayla tried a few more times, still getting no answers. Now she was near enough to the front of the line to see that she was standing before an entrance of some kind. Pushing her unkempt blonde hair out of her face, she looked up to see two huge giants holding clubs over this entrance. There was a man at the front of the line who was letting people in and giving them something. Wanting answers, Ayla marched up to the man, a determined look on her face.
"What this place?" She asked again, her hands resting on her hips. "Where Ayla?"
"Name?" The man asked in a dry voice. Ayla frowned.
"I just tell you. Ayla!" She said somewhat angrily, leaning forward. "What this place? Where village? Where Kino?"
"Welcome to Paixao." The man said in the same flat tone, handing Ayla a small gray-colored...thing. She took it, but didn't look at it.
"What Pakes-chow?" Ayla demanded, butchering the city's name. Before she could get an answer (though she probably wasn't going to get one anyway), someone shoved her from behind and she stumbled through the gate. Whirling around, she glared at the person who had entered behind her.
"You want fight?!" She shouted, putting up her fists. The person ignored her and continued past. Ayla growled softly, looking now at the item she was handed.
It wasn't very big and though it was hard, it couldn't be a weapon. "What this?" She looked at it from every angle, even sniffing it. "Not food, but what?" Without meaning to, she pressed a button. The small thing beeped and lit up. Startled, Ayla threw it to the ground and jumped back, getting into a fighting stance.
"Grr! Funny rock want fight?! Ayla fight!" She growled, staring intimidatingly down at it.
