Unfortunately, the Djinn didn't seem to understand a word Pikachu was saying, and coming up onto the fire escape had put the two creatures into closer proximity than it was willing to tolerate. With an odd squeak, it bristled and fired off a harsh cutting whirlwind at him - nothing deadly, but it was certainly trying to do some damage.
