Eight Times the Trouble: Special Pikachu Edition [COMPLETED]
Character(s): Pikachu, one of Ivan's Jupiter Djinni
Content: The Pikachu tries his paw at bounty hunting. The mission? Bring back one of Ivan's Djinni!
Setting: Somewhere in the F4 reigon
Time: The same day as "Beasts in the Streets", morning.
Warnings: Mild violence, but with an Electric-type Pokémon facing a Jupiter Djinn, nobody really gets hurt.
The first thing on the Pikachu's mind as he left the hotel was that he'd had quite a nice sleep. The second was that this was very exciting; he'd heard of bounty hunting before, and his Trainer was, he knew, one of the best in the business, but the little Pokémon had never tried it himself.
Wouldn't Samus be impressed when he found her!
But, before that, he would have to complete the mission at hand. He didn't have as much to go on as he would have liked - a smell to seek would have been ideal, but then again, he couldn't fault his client for his bad nose. The Pikachu would just have to keep his nostrils flared for any out-of-place smells.
In the meantime, he did have a picture a few button-presses away, as well as a rough idea where to look: places he himself would hide if he got spooked. Weaving with all the practiced non-effort of the very small through the natives' legs, the Pikachu began seeking his target.

"Hello, friend! We need t'get you back to your Trainer - he's pretty worried!"

With an easy leap, he came level with the Djinn, still smiling and keeping himself low once he cleared the railing. "Come on, now! No need to be scared - we can be friends! And Ivan really is very worried, you know. He told the whole network about you and the others!"

Landing again, the speedy little Pokémon wasted no time in leaping once more, this time straight up - and at the apex of his jump, using a discharge of his own to propel himself very quickly at the Djinn, attempting to get into a position to pin it.

"There we go! You made a good effort, friend! Now. Let's get you back to your Trainer!"
With that, the Pikachu plopped to a sit, getting his journal out. He blinked at it once, something occurring to him. Flipping it open and finding it still in working order, he beamed at the Djinn. "They really have good-good surge protection!"
Pressing a few buttons to get into posting mode without checking any new posts to the network, the Electric-type began recording a voice post. "Ivan! I found one of your Djinni! I'm gonna take it to the agreed meeting spot, soon as I figure out the trains and stuff. We-"
The Pikachu was cut off by a large, rumbling crash in the distance - startled, he sprang back to his hindlegs, looking in that direction. Not that he could see anything, not hear anything after the initial loud noise. Nothing immediately reached his nose, either.
Twitching his ears nervously, the Pikachu looked back down at the journal. He could re-record, but... that could have been important. It sounded big, at any rate. Still standing, the Pikachu decided to simply continue on. "...Dunno what that was. Tell you what - I'll keep your friend with me, and if I see any trouble I'll get it out of it. Contact me when you can and we can meet-meet."
With that, the Pikachu hit the 'send' button and looked at the Djinn. "Okay, friend, I'm not sure what that boom was all about. Let's go see!" After putting his journal away again, the Pikachu started to scamper up the fire escape, looking back to make sure the Djinn was following. Perhaps if they went to the roof they could see what had caused that noise in the distance.
((OOC: Think we should we call it good for this thread after the Djinn's next pose?))
