Encountering a new friend... [Active]
Character(s): Mia Fey, Larxene...anyone else?
Content: Mia might not know who Larxene is but Larxene knows her...
Setting: Matteus Museum of Art
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: None
She had not seen Diego for a little while, and Mia didn't want to know what that might mean. It was too soon to panic about it, which was why Mia found herself wandering the local art museum, trying to distract herself from disturbing thoughts. It wasn't really working. If anything, being in this museum was disturbing her even more. There was something very strange about art that had no history, no context behind it, nothing from which to draw any kind of meaning. She kept pausing in front of paintings and trying to infer something from them, and failing.
Mia didn't think she was going to hang around the museum much longer. Maybe getting something to eat would help her feel a little more grounded.

She approached, wearing a light blue sun dress and looking about as harmless as she could ever look. She didn't want to spoil the fun, after all.
"Enjoying the art?" she asked cheerily.
no subject
"Not really," she admitted with a rueful smile. "I don't really get it."

"In a place like this I don't think there's much to get," Larxene said. "This place doesn't seem to have much history~"
She tilted her head at Mia, as if she was trying to remember where she might have seen her face. "I do think I've heard of you on the journals," she said. "Mia Fey, right~?"

On the other hand, they had just met and there was really no reason to believe that this woman was anything like Dahlia. "That's me," she answered with a ready smile. "And you are...?"
no subject
His kitten, if the journals spoke true. She had reason to believe they did.

An apologetic shrug. "It's been so hard to remember...Before... Lately." And then, a trace of worry in her tone. "Have you been here long?"

She gestured to one of the citizens strolling through the gallery. "Aren't they strange? They're all around, but there aren't many older ones. As if they just appeared?"
She paused, bit her lip as if considering whether or not to continue. "I think that's what happens to people who stay too long. My hair... It used to be red. And my eyes were green! But now..."
Her eyes fell to the floor.
Oh yes, this was one of her best ideas in a while.

"That seems like a very strange effect," she commented. "Are you sure your hair didn't just...lighten from the sun, or from stress, or...? That can happen, I've seen it."
no subject
"Please believe me, you have to be careful," Larxene pleaded. "There's another girl who's even farther along than me... Naminé."
She was laughing inside.
