Wide Open Spaces [Complete]
Character(s): Deidara, lumens
Content: Deidara goes outside of the domes for some fresh air. He encounters the wildlife.
Setting: Elysian Fields
Time: morning
Warnings: violence
Deidara kept walking until he couldn't see the domes any more. That required moving through what appeared to be endless ruins, and he flew over those. But once he saw the wide, grassy open space of the field, he landed, taking only minor note of a building in the distance--he didn't want to be inside again. Stretching himself out on the ground--which was so much better than the artificial stuff they had inside--he stared up at the sky. He grinned up at a cloud for no particular reason.
This helped his mood a great deal. There was something about being inside all the time that just made him uncomfortable. He soaked up the daylight, keeping note of his surroundings, but mostly just relaxing.

The pack of doglike creatures had noticed the bird that wasn't a bird, and the newcomer who'd ridden on its back. Was he a threat? They stood back, watched warily. One adventurous one approached Deidara from the side, regarded him curiously... and then, quite suddenly, snapped sharply at the ninja's ear.

He glared at the creature, sent a clay bird swooping for it, and couldn't help but grin; art was a bang, after all.

That got the attention of its fellows, who all began to growl almost in unison. This in their midst was a bad person. Which of them attacked first was hard to say, but the rest followed suit, rushing forward almost as one with teeth bared.
((ooc: lol go wild Dei))

He was really deliriously happy, but he didn't care one bit. All that mattered was art and destruction and sound and color and light. Such stupid creatures, running blindly at him as they were.
"Pathetic!" he crowed. "Stupid animals, trying to stand up against art!"
He laughed again.
