Somehow, Axel felt... excited. His head began to pound immediately upon his revealance, and he intook a sharp breath, eyes widening. Kadaj remembered him, Kadaj remembered things about him... this was good, in a way. He smiled slowly...
The flames roared and thrust upward, curling at a disturbing height above Kadaj's head, and encircling him entirely. He enveloped the boy in a "cage" of fire, of sorts, and slowly stood up from his patch of drying grass, as he could no longer be seen.
However, the hooded man moved forward; all too easily, he passed through the flames, is coated form contasting starkly against the bright colors. The flames did not die, but Axel reached up his hand, slowly urging that hood back and onto his shoulders - revealing himself, and his grin.
"You haven't forgotten me." And in instant, the fire was gone entirely. They were left with night.
